Genetal, do you understand that this thread
Is in no way political. It highlights what many visitors to Cyprus write about

It has fuck all to do with your armchair polemics. Just stay away, RH is anxiously awaiting for a laugh with your moronic views on Syria. Clear off.

Or anusol ointment. The government sets prices for medical items in order to protect those in need of paying though the nose.
It does not, the government, set the price for vitamins such as Bcomplex B12.
If you do a search you will that Cyprus has far more chemists per head of tbe population than most EU countries except the ...masters of them all the Greeks, after all we have learned much from the Greeks on how to con people !!
Tourists in Paphos are fleeced on a daily basis, be it short trips by taxi, a boat ride or even a packet of parasidamol.

FFS! I provided the link to the government site that lists the official prices for medications in Cyprus. A quick check and BINGO! The price of your arse cream is in fact controlled by the government…

Reference hotels, do you think that The Anassa and the Royal Apollonia remain empty all year or do they perhaps cater for a clientèle that doesn’t argue about €0.90 for two tins of doggy chunks…?

Interesting Factoid. When I was in Sydney earlier this year the delightful young lady that was running the hotel (Pier One Sydney Harbour) actually opened The Anassa! We had a lovely chat about her time in Cyprus...

The Pier One Hotel Milti, which charges 10,000 a night!

You would call them a rip off, but that is your issue.

They don't cater to Chav dick heads who go around penny pinching. They are catering to the Tom Cruise's and Nicole Kidman's of this world.

I told you before. You diverted this thread not me. I returned volley.

Now, I don't talk to idiots. Why the fuck would I engage with an fucken idiot who has always claimed that the UK is delivering propaganda when they released what they claim to be evidence about the activities of 2 alleged Russian FIS spies who were caught on CCTV?

2 individuals who were in the UK for less than a few hours and just so happen to be caught on CCTV walking in from of the victims house. A quick fly in fly out job hey?

So they went to the UK to see that Cathedral?

Isn't Big Ben good enough for them? Wowee mate. I guess it was too cold for the Russians and there was too much snow so they had to get back on to the first plane for Russia where the weather is warmer and of course there wouldn't be any snow. This is what I call propaganda for the most gullible of fools. In fact the Russians are taking the friggin piss and know that no person in their right mind would buy this shit and are probably pissing themselves in laughter over some Vodka's.

Everything from the West, UK, USA, NATO, and EU is propaganda but everything coming from the Kremlin's mouthpieces and supporters is undisputed fact.

Both of you are senile light weights.

I don't like wasting my time with fuckwits.

Speaking of Cypriot prices, you are not taking into consideration the economics of scale that others tried to explain to you. Only a silly old coot would expect the same pricing in Cyprus as the UK with their NHS system a drug stockpiles and purchasing power.

Look at the penthouse price.

Right here:

https://theupsider.com.au/look-inside-a ... ivate/3038

I've been to the Pier One mate. And this is one of the favorites for Cruise and Kidman and some others like US Presidents and so on.

There is no way they will let anyone near the joint for 104 Euros. Its exclusive and the most expensive room is in the Melbourne Crown and comes in at $27,000 per night.

Maybe they will let you in the lobby for a look for a 104 Euros. But you aint gonna get a room under the Harbour Bridge for 104 Euros. That's our backpacker pricing.

It's similar pricing to some of the expensive hotels in Cyprus, actually.

I could name a few, but Milti could have a heart attack!

OK good luck to you if you got the patrons paying 27,000 per night.

Sydney however is one of those places that is just unrealistic and not really built for the miltis of this world. It is a very desirable place. probably the most bueatiful (arguably) city in the world, and so it is a play ground for the rich and famous especially around the harbor. Sydney is just one big huge bubble right now.

They are able to name their price and that is what they do because there are patrons in this world who are rich enough to pay those amounts.

It is not where your average family would stay.

I visited Australia twice and I must say Sydney is indeed a beautiful place. I stayed in the same hotel both times. The first time I went the hotel was called ANA and then changed to Shangri-La. My second visit was interesting for a few reasons and I had the biggest laugh of my life in check in.

The team from American Choppers were there and being a fan spoke to all and shared a drink with Mikey. After a week Dick Cheney visited Australia and stayed there and the security was just crazy.

One thing I will never forget was our check-in. My wife and I went to the desk and I gave our name to the lady behind the desk, she looked at her screen and said she couldn't find us. So I started spelling the name R for Romeo U for uniform, S for Sierra, at this point she looked up at me and asked "how do you spell Sierra"

I wish I was there now. I'd love a fish and chips at Doyles
