:P

I think "most doubting the virginity of Sotos, and for his sins they will burn in hell for eternity" sounds more interesting to read! :D

The ancient Egyptians were far more advanced in an even earlier time:

Medical information in the Edwin Smith Papyrus may date to a time as early as 3000 BC.[19] Imhotep in the 3rd dynasty is sometimes credited with being the founder of ancient Egyptian medicine and with being the original author of the Edwin Smith Papyrus, detailing cures, ailments and anatomical observations. The Edwin Smith Papyrus is regarded as a copy of several earlier works and was written c. 1600 BC. It is an ancient textbook on surgery almost completely devoid of magical thinking and describes in exquisite detail the examination, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of numerous ailments.

So those things that Moses said were not that impressive for 1500BC. Actually they wouldn't be impressive even 1000s of years earlier. Even prehistoric people could figure certain things by observing animals: "Over time through emulation of the behavior of fauna a medicinal knowledge base developed and passed between generations." (e.g. how some animals bury their poo, or force away sick members.)

Yet, European Man was utterly clueless and as a result lost millions of people to the Black Death and it wasn’t until much later that they discovered the benefit of isolating the sick…

Someone from the Middle Ages could’ve looked in the bible (which they were supposedly preaching) and to his astonishment would’ve discovered that Moses advised that they isolate the sick some 3,000 years earlier, and thereby saved many victims!

Or the bloody kounellous that keep cutting my fishing line !!!

More relevant to your lifestyle Milti, Moses also advises that you only eat scaled fish.

This would exclude many of today’s delicacies like octopuses, oysters, crabs, clams, etc.

And indeed oysters have made many people sick… :?

But I’m pleased to inform that drinking wine is indeed recommended.

Europeans were clueless about many things in that era, which is why it is called the "Dark Ages". The Church was the main culprit for the lag of progress (or even decline) in those times.

Problem with Black Death is that it was a disease or virus that was spread from rats and other vermon.

Black Death sufferers were actually quarantined and their houses were marked so people knew to stay away but that didn't stop the spread in populated areas.

And no, Moses was not known for his scientific discoveries in medicine and quarantine. In fact the entire Bible actually defies human logic and science even as we know it today and it simply isn't good enough to just say that humanity isn't good enough to comprehend the cosmic or other Godly matters.

People can get sick from eating any food but yes seafood has more potential.

People have also died from eating scaled fish so it is not just shell fish and octopus etc.

The Bible (Old Testament) which you are referring too, also mentions that circumcision is also cleaner.

Where did anyone say that Moses made medical discoveries? :?

Where did anyone say that humanity isn't good enough for "cosmic or other Godly" matters? (whatever the hell that means) :?

Be careful Paphitis because misreading, misinterpreting, and then responding with codswallop seems to be a recurring theme with you… :)
