You most certainly belong to the highly professional and qualified group of people who should have done something a long time ago.
Either from their work position or via your association.
Yet no one of you ever did anything. Isn't this a fact?

The last time I tried to warn this forum about Wargaming being one of the new major shareholders of Hellenic Bank I was really shocked to get this reply from you:
cyprus45155.html#p847886
I mean if people like you can't foresee what will happen to Hellenic Bank, then who can?

Still don’t know what you mean pyro? The problem with Hellenic Bank was before wargaming. Wargaming and 3rd point recapitalized the bank and then lost half their money doing so. If you ask me they’re heroes! And because of their recap the bank could then absorb the crap from the coop (trust me even just the good bank that was transferred over was crap) with a small further recap required, 150m.

If you ask me wargaming have no business owning a bank however they are the largest non bank tax payer on the island and they did step up when no one else would. Did they install cronies and did their cronies eat off commissions from the bank....yes. Small price to pay though.

Apologies for my tone. We are just discussing here, and usually I HIGHLY appreciate your posts.

I seriously doubt it.
All you need to learn is how many million they have in cash in that building, how may body guards, and what extreme security.
Cypriots are working there too, and as you know they can't keep a secret, can they?

Now go and have a fucking rest and clear off this forum, you are full of shit anyway.
Go on, fuck off ypu Plonker.

Stop being a cuckold little bitch!

I can call them whatever I like because that is the way I feel about the rich Ruskies in Cyprus and I have every right to call them filth because it is a free country.

They friggin destroyed Cyprus and bought it to its knees. They are making housing non affordable for Cypriots. They are also involved in a lot of criminal activity with sex slave prostitute trafficking, illegal gaming and gambling houses, narcotics, illegal money laundering, shark money lending to vulnerable non creditworthy Cypriots and who knows what else.

They are filth alright.

What can he do? When the system is corrupt to its core to protect Russian illegal activities (remember Christofias was in power too) then what can anyone do about it?

From what I can see, the Government was behind all this and responsible for the 50,000 Russians. A lot of these Russians are not pensioner retirees like the Brits are. Many are literally Billionaires. They are mega rich. The flooded the Banks way beyond their stress points. The Government would have known this was occurring and so did the Bankers. The collapse was inevitable. What the basnks tried to do was alleviate their liabilities with easy loans in Cyprus and Greece into markets that couldn't absorb or service these amounts of credit.

And then KABOOM! Who pays in the old. The average Cypriot on the street pays for the bride.

These people over saturated the Cypriot Banks with liabilities. Who in the Government is going to accept this and face the music?

What on earth could DT do about it? If he tried, he might even risk his life. They would have said he is stupid and crazy.

I totally agree with Paphitis on all that he has said about the banks/government. In fact it started with the laundering of millions for Milosivich (?), via a very well known law firm that also took the presidency in the past, so I heard.

The banks has so much liquidity they had to get rid of it and they did this by giving loans left right and centre to any tom dick or harry that asked for it, irrespective if he could pay or not and that's the main reason for the NPL's of course some were caused by people losing their jobs but not on that scale.

In fact I read that a very well know Paphos developer that used to be on the BoC board had borrowed something like ,€498 million without any security or provisions to repay it!!!! So why ins't someone answering to this???

This here Banana Republic is run by the elite, for the elite at the expense of the average man in the street. Oh and stealing the depositors money through Laiki Bank was a purely criminal act and was despicable, I know people that had lost it all after many years of hard slog abroad. May they be all be damn to hell all those that were involved in that disgraceful act.

So, please don't try to defend the indefensible by play with semantics, and definitions and other BS. It was exactly as Paphitis has said it.

Paphitis tries to paint Cyprus as an incompetent country mired in fraud and corruption but has nothing to say about the country in which he lives…

How the great Australian banking control fraud was built…

Banking scandals in Australia since 2009…
