which bit do you not understand. the flag is on a private property. he can do what ever he wants in it.

Which flag is on a private property. Have i missed something?

the terggish and the trnc flags on the desparmak mountains is on private property.

You might disagree with me here Lordo but I think it's a fucking disgrace. The fact it is on private property is no excuse. Get the fucking things removed, they are stupid and insulting the very people we are trying to make peace with.

not at all, mr i agree with you 110%. they should be removed. In fact all flags should be removed is my belief. We don't need them.

How the hell does a mountain become a “private land” when I’m sure it was a state land before?

Who owned the mountain before 1974, an individual or the state?

Sounds to me like the “private land” excuse by the north is just a cover to put the flags up just to be “in your face” to the GCs.

So much for so called “confidence building”, then the north complains when the south does not want to include the TCs in the hydrocarbons development.

Why doesn’t the TCs demand the removal of flags?

ai what? is there no private land on mountains. i have a friend who has a house and garden literally about 500 meters from the flags and at the same level on the mountain too.

now here is a revelation. gcs asshole should be aware that this village my friend lives in which is next to the flag is called new dohni. now how many of the swine knows what happened to dohni in the south. these people's menfolk were a murdered by your lovely comaptriots in cold blood unarmed age ranges from 15 to 75. I have never heard one of the complain about the flags.

Building a home on the mountain and desecrating it is another. The flags are as big as the mountain, they are politically charged and it does nothing but build resentment and hate. No wonder some TCs cars gets damaged in the south because the flags are offensive and confrontational to most. Get rid of the damn things and replace it with couple of flag poles with normal size flags if they are really necessary to be there.

I said what i think of them. i will give you one last bit of information, the land belongs to a high ranking officer from the army now retired. by all means go expalin it to him, he may just listen. if i wanted to make such a statement i would plant trees of the correct colour flower soin spring i would send the message, i would not desecrate the mountain like him, not that i would even consider sending such a message as i despise flags anywhere. flag should be used one thing only and that is it should be a kefen for any soldier that is killed in war and wishes to be burried with one.

how about this one though what should we do with this.

So the land on the mountain is stolen land by the Turkish military officer, so how can it be private land? He has no right to it at all. So now it makes more sense, that the flags are meant to create hate. I appreciate your own sentiments for the mountain than this military old fart without any respect to the mountain. As for the Greek flag on the ground, is it visible to the north or to the general public in the south. If it is, then yes, get rid of the damn thing.

what difference does it make whether it is visible or not. it is desecration of the mountain side where ever it may be.

like i said by all means you are welcome to go and see him and fishgirt your complaints. but be aware that all ex officers hold on to their weapons. as whehter it is his or not, never the less he has the trnc deeds for it. now again, by allmeans expalin it to him that it does not really belong to him. while you are at it take our favourate gc here like b25 max xero at all just for good compnay we may kill 4 birds in one.

Not sure where that greek flag is but I agree should be removed.

Now the fact that I live here and don't know where that greek flag is and you're equating it to 2 football pitch size turkish flags that are illuminated by night with blinking lights, visible to 50% of the island with the words ascribed next to them of what a joy it is to be a turk....is a new kind of lunacy. Even for a dimwit like you.

What's even more lunatic is that we the GCs supply the electricity for free. How fucked up is that. We deserve all we get.

Studying the photo of the Greek flag which Lordo posted, to somehow to indicate that both sides are desecrating mountains, the Greek flag is not on a mountain, but close to the sea on a slightly elevated land along the coast somewhere, which can only be seen from a boat. Regardless, they should all be removed, especially the graffiti in the north as it is an eyesore which distracts the beauty of the mountain, despite the mountain being heavily quarried and scared very badly. Not much love is given to the land by the corrupt and ignorant politicians in the north.

it takes one to know one dt. desecration is deceration and in the same context displaying a flag. as to the size, i suspect the tcs have much bigger concerns than your concerns and if those concerns were addressed perhaps they can turn their attention to your objections.

56 years of embargoes and you are worried about a flag, i would say you know exactly what to do with your concerns my small mined friend. get some brains to start with anyway.
