when you say you met the gentleman concerned was it dr dt jakyll or was mr dt hyde that you met.
was he drunk or was he sober?
did he have red mist or was his eyes normal?
how many times have you met him?
did you meet the same dt each time.

I think that can be said for the vast majority of CF community. I liked GR, met him and just like DT, a jolly decent chap. Probably the smartest contributor on the forum, not meaning to disrespect other contributors, just my humble opinion

Lordo, On the day I met DT and GR, there was me Erolz and Iceman. We had a couple of beers and and a few nibbles. We also had heated exchanges about the Cyprob. Erolz was very passionate and possibly most vocal on the day. We left on good terms, damn I even bear-hugged GR

I heard about Buyuk Han and the wonderful atmosphere created by true Cypriots from both sides of the divide but unfortunately I've never been to such meetings, I must make a note in my To Do List.

you see thats the nasty side of you for all to see. all i was getting at is the fact that there are ways some pibol really make a killing and i would like to get an idea what it is that they use other than normal corruption.

for instance:
gc can claim refugee status form their grandparents and gets lots of help from the state
gcs also can claim tc properties even if they do not have refugee status assuming that they have political connections usually with eoka
gcs are also able to access un stores and buy cheap alchohol and ciggie and sell in the open market.
in the 70s there was a lot of aid given to cyprus, what happened to that aid? was it distributed fairly?

was hoping you could shed some light on the matter as you are the fellowwho seems to be connected and know a lot of things.
