Serious questions to remoaners

Postby Paphitis » Tue Jul 30, 2019 5:28 am

Why have you lost self belief in yourselves?

Why do you lack self esteem?

Why are you defeatists and lost faith in your country?

Are these the types of values you pass on to your children?

I think those that argued and argue that the EU is so all powerful and the UK so weak and feeble that membership represents a form of slavery are the ones without self belief in themselves, who lack self esteem, are defeatist and have lost faith in their country.

Not sure you have 'caught my drift' here.

When nations like Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Croatia, Bulgaria, Greece, Portugal, Slovenia, Estonia, Latvia and others all believe they can as sovereign nation states 'hold their own' within a union of such states, then how is the argument that the UK can not do so in such a union and therefore must leave be anything but , defeatist, lacking of self esteem and belief and faith in the UK ?

But that isn't the Brexit argument as you well know...

Brexiteers are confident that we can do better outside the union which is one of the reasons we voted to leave... :D

It is only Remoaners like Milti that talk down the UK, not Leavers...

Yes it is and has always been one of the central core Brexit arguments, as you well know. If you really want to keep trying to argue that the Brexit argument has never used themes that the UK is in effect a vassal state within the EU, that the EU forces us to do things that we do not want to do and we can not resit such, that the UK has no ability to reform the EU and many more besides, then go ahead. Personally I will stick to reality rather than the fantasies in your head.

Here is a question for you Mr. Remainer*.

Do you think the UK will actually leave the EU?

* Not really a Remainer obviously, "just trying to understand"....

I think the odds are that it will. Maybe 80/20 in that ball park. I also think that biggest risk to it not happening is actually that minority of extreme leavers - NOT ALL THOSE WHO VOTED LEAVE - but a subset of them that are determined to try and get THEIR preferred form of Brexit only and nothing else by any means necessary and with no regard for if that form that they want has majority support of the people or not or the damage getting it might do to others of the UK in general. That if they had or were willing to compromise at all on their maximal desire as to the FORM of Brexit they would accept, with no regard for what the majority want in terms of FORM of Brexit, then we would in fact already have left the EU by now.

FFS I gave you my answer already. I think in most likely hood it will but that is not certain, from what I can see. I even gave you an estimate as to what the chances are , in my view. What the fuck more do you want from me ?

Question : Will it rain in Dunstable tomorrow ?
Reply : I think there is 80% chance it will rain.
Question : Just answer the question. Will it rain tomorrow.
Reply : I told what I think already.

This is pathetic imo.
