there is a slight issue in this little report. jc has to win a confidence vote after bojo loses his and than the democratic rule is that he becomes prime minister.

now our democracy it is customery for the pm to inform the queen of the facts that first of all he has lost the vote and that jc has won it. and then the queen has to appoint jc as pm because thats what our rules say.
now if bojo takes the undemocratic way and not inform the queen on the matter, i would have thought the house speaker would have to do it. of course jc may not offer himself as pm and they decide to go for an elder statesman/woman from either side to do it. after all, at this point pm has support for is to extend article 50 by 12 more months to give the new government a chance to negotiate a proper deal and put it to the people too.

my god is there no bounds to your stupidty.

Good luck with that one.

There is another little problem with your thinking. The Queen has the final say and BOJO can ask the Queen to defer Parliament, therefore no vote of no confidence before 31st of October.

Another big flaw is that the Conservatives are riding a massive tidal wave of support under BOJO since they just went up 9% on the IPSOS polls.

So, a no confidence vote isn't going to be popular and it will be the end of Corbyn in due course.

A Knowledgeable Commentator wrote:The process is pretty straightforward – Johnson loses a no confidence vote. He has fourteen days in which to try to secure the confidence of the house and win a second no confidence vote. If he loses that, he goes to the Queen and seeks a dissolution of parliament and calls an election. By which time, we will have left the European Union by default...

On WTO Terms obviously...

The idea of a couple of Marxist/Communists humbly petitioning the Monarch in an attempt to gain power, without having the inconvenience of a General Election is beyond parody. Moreover, the sight of people talking about that being an expression of democracy, when parliament effectively ignores the largest mandate it has ever been given by the population is nothing but Orwellian "doublethink" in nature.

If I were the Queen I should be very careful. The last time the Marxists went to a palace to "discuss" taking power the Romanovs were never seen again.

Please, do take into account that just over a third of the total electorate voted leave. Not exactly representative of the total people is it.
In the meantime ....Madam Sterling is rushing to the "on par level" with the mighty euro. Does this tell us anything, and NO it's not due to speculators its wholly due to the outcome of the referendum coupled with the UK having a fucking clown
as it's PM. The fat lady us about to start singing whilst the fools will start ....dancing !!

This is the problem with these so called progressives. They are immersing themselves into and alternate twiterverse bubble where this kind of thinking is the norm.

They seem to think they can subvert the referendum and they seem to think this is democracy.

It really is interesting times. But they are delusional in that the mainstream population will just be driven away from them and towards the Coservatives and other BREXIT parties. You see that in the polls.

In the event of a no confidence vote, BOJO has 14 days to win a follow up vote.

He can also defer Parliament if he wanted to.

In the meantime, Britain exits the EU with a no deal but the EU can still trade with Britain under EU rules for up to 2 years if it wants to and there is no reason why the wouldn't want to.

Then, the Conservatives will rump it in if they have to go to the polls.

And there will be more remoaner crocodile tears.

Are you people for real ?
The EU is the UK's largest by far trading partner. 2017 trade figures show exports to the EU £274 BILLION !! Imports from the EU at £341 BILLION. Not peanuts in anyone's mind with the exception of Paphitis.
As for trading with the EU for 2 years after Brexit, poppycock!!

The EU can trade with Britain under the same conditions as today for 2 years if it wants to. This is according to Tom Horwood whom I have been following for some time as a knowledgeable commentator.

And with Germany on the brink of a devastating recession, I think that is a given.

Tom Harwood is absolutely brilliant and knows what he is talking about.
