Do you accept the reality that there is a real and material loss in terms of living and working in EU countries to UK citizens once we leave the EU ?

I think the chances of you just answering this question are very low. I also think the probability that I understand why you will not just answer such a question is very high.

Cyprus will decide who she wants here and under what terms/conditions - not the EU.

It's actually you who is posting utter nonsense decorated with stupid gifs (as if one stupid gif with a bucket was not enough)
Show me where did I say that it's the EU who decides who from a 3rd country and under what terms may reside in Cyprus or elsewhere.
What the EU actually dictates is free movement and free settlement for all EU citizens.

Furthermore did you get the point of my initial post?
May I remind you the point was that by Brexiting with no deal, you deprive yourselves and all future generations of choices you had for granted and people like you already enjoy.

Only if you'll accept that people were doing so long before the EU...

Only if you'll accept that people have been moving, living and working around the world long before and without the blessing of the EU...

Only if you will accept that I came to Cyprus before she joined the EU, accepted her terms and conditions and have lived here without the need for EU permission for the last 17 years...

Only if you will accept that there are many non-EU countries that UK citizens move to work in and live in without the permission of the EU...

Only if you accept (which you won't) that the world doesn't revolve around the EU... It may be five hundred million people or whatever but the world is a much bigger place and when the EU collapses (as it will) the rest of the world will barely notice... and certainly won't shed a tear...

I've broken my own rule now of replying to somebody that simply is incapable of understanding reasoned responses... No doubt you will reply with the same old shite as you always do...

Of course I accept all of the above. The point and the reality still remains that before we joined the EU (and after we leave) none of those people who did so were able to do so as a matter of right but only if they were able to meet the necessary criteria. That the loss of the right to be able to do so is real and material. There will be people who would have chosen to work and live in EU countries after we leave who will not be able to do so because they do not meet the criteria and would have been able to do so if we had not left the EU.

This is no different from the 'trade' arguments that go around and around in circles. The simple reality is you can not go from being in the EU to being outside it and outside the customs union and single market without there being a real and material increase in trade barriers and by extensions level of trade. It is just impossible. No arguments about how we traded with the EU before joining, about how important their exports to the UK are to them and the like change this reality one iota.

Tim Drayton our resident forumer is a classic example of that.
He worked as a Turkish to English and vice versa translator, living in Limassol.

Not insinuations. I genuinely don’t know if you’re right or wrong. I naturally assume you’re suffering from the normal remainer penchant for worse case Brexit scaremongering.

I also came here before the advent of the benevolent EU - with absolutely no problem.

If you’re right, how do you think it will impact on Cypriots in the UK?

Please, show me the proof. I’m intrigued.

You said I was so full of it! hiding behind vague or not so vague insinuations.
I don't appreciate people who hide behind their finger.
Be brave enough and say it: I meant you are full of shit, keep 'em coming-I apologize, please show me the proof.
