DIPLOMAT: AUSTRALIA WOULD CURB INTELLIGENCE SHARING WITH CORBYN-LED UK

Alexander Downer, Australia’s former High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, has declared that Australia would have to “substantially reduce” vital intelligence sharing with the UK in the event of a Corbyn premiership. Australia is one of the ‘five eyes’ nations which undertake incredibly close anti-terrorism intelligence sharing between the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. If Australia were to step back from the UK it’s likely the other countries in the alliance would do the same. Speaking to the National Press Club in Canberra, Downer said:

“Under a Corbyn government, they will abandon the support for the Western Alliance and steer a completely different foreign policy and security policy direction to such an extent that I think we would be unwise to continue the intelligence-sharing relationship with a Corbyn-led Britain of the kind that we’ve had … under Gordon Brown and Tony Blair and so on over the years.

“I think that would have to change. So I’m hoping, unusually … you will be surprised to hear me say this, that Boris Johnson wins the election on the twelfth of December. I think it is important to us as Australians.”

‘Five eyes’ is at the heart of the Western security alliance, it is has always been inconceivable that the alliance between the firmest of friends would ever be severed. That, understandably, can not be compromised by being shared with people who read and take their line from the Morning Star every morning….

Downer has very little credibility by being on the take from Turkey when he was an UN envoy for Cyprus talks.

He is more suited shagging Kangaroos in Australia than knowing much about intelligence sharing between "Five Eyes" nations. :D

i cannot understand how anybody with half a brain cell accepts the brexshitheaders actions blindly. what is it that causes human beings to take a zombie mentality toward such an important issue facing our future.

CORBYN CALLS FOR GOVERNMENT TO ACTIVATE SCHEME ALREADY ACTIVATED THREE DAYS AGO

Corbyn has just called on the government to activate the Bellwin scheme to provide financial support to communities affected by flooding. The Bellwin formula makes funding available immediately to local authorities, such as those dealing with flooding in the Midlands and Yorkshire. An obviously good idea from Jeremy Corbyn. Which is probably why the Prime Minister activated it 3 days ago…

...can someone suggest a minority government position Britons could benefit from?

...is a minority government likely?

...or possible?

you mean as incompetent as b'stard who started walking to lay the reif before the speech was completed and place it upside down? surely not.

should they not have anounced the fact so people who are affected are aware or were theyt not too keen forpeople to find out about it incase they claim.

incompetence is claiming 3.5 million in grants for the homeless from the eu and trying to spend it elsewhere you asshole and in the end not claiming it when they were told they could only spend it on the homeless.
would you adam and eve it, 9 russians contributing to the tories and them trying to hide the fact till after the election.
what is the world coming to when they can't even get away with a bit of nepotism.

yau wanna see something mental.

whilst they spent 7 billion on a train line which is not going to be built, they have cut 379 million from environmental services. be careful that coffee may be too hot.

do you cry or do you laugh?

An extra 100 Army personnel deployed from Wednesday to support the recovery effort in South Yorkshire
Funding for local councils where households and businesses have been affected - equivalent to £500 per eligible household
Up to £2,500 for small and medium-sized businesses which have suffered severe impacts not covered by insurance

so the local authority will get 500 per household and businesses will get 2500 if they are not covered by insurance. you cannot make it up.
