Words of Cromwell (1653) who dismissed parliament, due to it's corruption and disdain for the people who had elevated them to that position. IMHO, that couldn't be more appropriate than in the present situation, where the governance of the country is being carried out by the opposition, which makes great play of the fact that they will deny the populace a vote in the matter until they get their own way.

I have grandchildren too. A joy to me. Unlike your own kids you can have a lot of fun and enjoyment spoiling them, then just shrug your shoulders and give them back. Then there's tears and "I want Granddad!!!"

What Lordo didn’t reveal is that as well as playing chess with tree (sic) of his grandkids, simultaneously posting devastating ripostes on here, he was banging out “I wish I was in Dixie” on a mouth-organ, whilst spinning a plate on the top of his head. I surrender!

of course, the question did not make any specifics only what they mean. naturally you cannot break chess rules unlike the unwritten constitution of the country which is unwritten, the rules of chess are documented rather well.

Let me rephrase my last post.

As long as the castling rules have not been broken unintentionally due to not knowing all of the castling rules in full.
