the old lada 1200/1700 I think it was. they were based on the Fiat 125. I guess they bought the old pressing tools from Fiat.
Skoda today is a part of VAG together with SEAT, VW, Audi and Porsche I think. So most of the part in skoda today is VW parts. just with another partnumber.

Alfa Romeo are now closely linked to Maserati, within the Fiat empire, which also includes Lancia and Ferarri. (Maserati were previously linked with Ferarri).

Hi VEX

It's just that the name of the guy respsonsible for platform sharing and liaision between Maserati and Alfa, sounds like the name of my favourite Italian dish (in a restaurant, I mean :-))

What's the name? Or did I miss something.
I've been slow since I got back to the States. Cyprus has slowwwwed me down. And I did not even get a chance to visit the famous car wash :(

Hmmmmm a tenuous connection at best Svetlana. But of course in the sexy world of the international industrial spy you must have your sources (sprinkled with a little grated Parmesan no doubt).
