Talking of Skodas i just paid a visit to the web site for the new Octavia RSV. Nice looking motor. As a freeby the site is offering a download of the new game World Rally 2 featuring the new Skoda Octavia. I just played it and having the opportunity to free drive the living daylights out of a brand new motor on the twisty roads of Italy is always satisfying. I do feel however that the developers may have scored a bit of an own goal with the 'Push Your New Skoda To A Main Dealer' level.

Actually it is vRS... Quite nice and fast car, probably one of the best cars currently coming out of the VW factories. I wish I afford it though...

I stand corrected. I agree, a lovely looking motor. Not just the body styling either. Very sporty looking interior too. Would have to get the coupe though

I agree, Skoda Octavia is generaly very good car. I love version Combi 4x4. That's my favourite

Skoda R was earlier than Skoda Rapid and I think R was a gem of all Skodas

I like classic cars.. and a brand like Skoda got a lot of history.
Most connect the brand with the 105 which was just an dark dark period

Didn't Skodas have the hot water return pipe for the radiator routed under the dashboard so that if it blew the motor filled up with steaming water and the drivers legs got scalded? Just a minor design flaw if it was.
