Surely this is the formula being played out under the hysteria over a disease that at worst is as deadly as the flu?

Yes Tim, but in order for the world leaders to “control the masses” by taking our rights away because of the “threat”, which is no worse than the flu as some claim, then the “threat” must remain in place in perpetuity in order to keep the sheep in line without rights. And what would the world leaders gain by doing that since the world economy would just get worse and worse until it will crumble to nothing. If there is no economy to speak of, then there would be no rich people left because soon they won’t have their billions either. Then you will have massive unemployment with riots and destruction where the rule of law cannot be maintained, to which anyone who might still have any kind of wealth and the “good life” would become victims to the masses.

Is the above scenario what the world leaders really want?

Easily done with a third, fourth, fifth and sixth wave etc.

Did you see VP Pence! Totally destroyed Camela! The MSM had to even say that he was mansplaining because they had nothing else because Pence was cool as ice!

And society has capitulated so much now, that all is needed is a mild virus like COVID in the future to keep locking the globe down until countries are irreversibly on their knees and at the mercy of the IMF.

The precedence has been set.

That would be "PRESIDENT" has been set according to your lunatic POTUS

Trump is the only show in town I'm afraid.

you would have to be stupid to support Obiden and Camela!

Kikakopoulos' good post seems to have gone over your head... a recurring theme with you.

He didn't question if tyranny can be applied, but what good it would be for those at the helm.

Oh and try not to make yourself a nuisance like Repulsed, by posting irrelevant jumps to other websites in the middle of a debate.

And who pays into the IMF? With a crumbled economy around the world, there won’t be an IMF to lend money to anyone.

Yes, people of the State of Victoria has been abused by your own government, but that is not what the rest o the world is like, because the leaders know, that if they push the masses too much, the economy will take a dive big time. Without the economy, we go back to my previous posts and the scenarios as an outcome. Do not forget, that governments around the world do not generate jobs or wealth. It is mainly done by the private sector. If the private sector decides to stay at home because the government wants to take their rights away, there won’t be a government left without an economy since we the people pay the fuckers.

Now you’re forcing Paphitis to fire up the second brain cell with a spark-plug that hasn’t seen any action in 5 years. :?

You will!

With every state owned people's asset and with our homes when the market's and banks collapse.

The same thing that happened in Cyprus.

What good would it be?

Total control of the world's population. Owning our time is worth more than all their combined wealth put together. And people will lap it up if promised to "be kept safe".

The US government already has total control over its population (and elsewhere) and the few citizens dumb enough to resist are shot like rabid dogs in the streets. Where have you been all these years?

The US population is the most free population on the planet, for now!And people are not shot on the streets at all for resisting Government.

I say for now, because our rights should never be taken for granted. They are here today, could be gone tomorrow. I've seen it with my own eyes.
