The only 2 viable scenarios or hypothesis that are being investigated are:

1) that COVID 19 jumped from bat to another animal and then to humans - just like 4 out od 5 past pandemics did, and

2) that COVID 19 jumped from a Cghinese Virology Lab in Wuhan to staff. China was the only country n the world tobe collecting strains of COVID from bats in Southern China and storing them in a lab in Wuhan.

Not once has the US or asnyomne else been mentioned to be involved.
