Our 5G network is Swedish from ericcson.

But don't fool yourself Get Real. Australia has the know how to build 12 Shortfin Submarines (propeller free) so a little RF transmitter is a piece of cake.

Australia has outlawed all Chy-nese 5G technologies. No one is allowed to roll out junk Chy-nese 5G crap in our country, :D

Chy-nese 5G isn't allowed in ANY of the 5 eye countries. Only Japanese, American and Swedish are allowed.

Enjoy your Chy-nese 5G Get Real!

Indeed Australia is using Ericsson unlike the US… but it is well known that if you’re not using Huawei (Chinese) 5G hardware then you are getting a technologically inferior and far more expensive setup. :)

Huawei, owns most of the world's latest hi-tech patents so there's no way you can compete with them unless you make them a part of your setup.

Inferior no! Quite the opposite. Ericsson, Nokia and Qualcomm are the best technologies.

They have standards Get Real.

And secondly, if the 5 eyes and others (Germany and Netherlands etc) have banned Chy-nese 5G then that should raise red flags for you. Smart Phones have been used to track people for ages now. The Americans have been doing it, the 5 eyes have been doing it, and China does it.

If the 5 eyes are worried about Chy-nese Hiawei (can't spell Chy-nese) because of their links to the CCP, then you should be worried to. I swear, that if Chy-nese 5G comes to Australia (and it won't) then I'm going back to a brick Nokia phone.

If Cyprus introduces Chy-nese 5G, then you poor bastards are phucked!

No Paphitis because truth be told, only Nokia and Huawei offer complete 4G/5G solutions while the rest offer bits and pieces in-between.

Huawei is currently the world leader in both sales and technology and for very good reasons which I won't get into with... you!

All those hobbyist / semi pro drones that will have to be thrown in the bin now down in aus. What a shame. Still the patriotic duty of all Australians to do so to fight off the 'yellow peril'.

DJI has 76.8% of US market share for hobbyist and semi pro drones, for good reason. I doubt the Aus figures are much better. Next biggest competitor is Intel with 3.7 % source (https://www.bloombergquint.com/business ... at-a-price)

Nonsense, we already have a fully functional 5G network in Australia. You just need to have a compatible phone to use it and at the moment only Apple IPhone and Samsung have phones on the market that are able to sue Australia's 5G network.

Hiawei, are embargoed and are not allowed to sell phones in Australia. 8)

In that case, you stand to make a lot of money if I send you say... 50 Huawei P30 Pro’s because they’d sell like hot cakes in a restricted country like Australia!

Normal price $650, in Australia $1200!

As for the lack of Google, you don't need it...

Sorry Get Real, I can never betray my country like this and sell Chy-nese spyware.

Asan Australian Patriot, I only like Australian 5 eyes Spyware.

I'm an Apple man, and if anyone can topple Apple, it's going to be Samsung, not this Chy-nese junk.

I couldn't buy anything Chy-nese as a matter of principle. What Chy-na is doing to the Chinese in Hong Kong is nothing short of criminal. I have a lot of Chinese Hong Kongers as real friends. Have dinner with them regularly on our meetups which happen sometimes, and I can tell you that the Chinese are not happy with the Chy-nese.

The only Chynese I knew was some Chy-nese students that lived in my neighborhood. But just out of the blue, their furniture was on the street and they just vanished when Australian Government revoked VISAS from the Chy-nese. They were nice enough, and we would chat with them, but the only friends I know real well on a personal level are some Chinese Hong Kongers. That's because I trained quite a few Cathay Cadets (about 30 of them) a few years ago for their Jet Transition Training (I hold CASA Testing Officer Approvals), and became fiends with them and I follow their careers as well.

All Cathay cadets get their Australian qualifications before converting to the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department's equivalent.

The poor buggers never wanted the Brits to leave Hong Kong and are now paying the price. A very heavy price. Now they want to leave and come to Australia, States or Europe. because of the Chy-nese, the poor buggers came to love the Brits and prefer British Rule to Chy-nese Rule or independence.

The Hong Kongers are very intelligent people. You will never meet more disciplined students ever. Also academically very capable. They were so good to train.

If you are an apple man you are then a foxconn man, a trillion dollar Chinese company that became such by making the vast majority of apple phones for apple to sell to people like you at inflated prices. You can not buy an apple phone without putting money in to foxconn.
