the left leaning media and the dems in general had it in for him from the beginning.

He just fanned the flames with his ways.

There is something I would agree with him on though, His presidency was probably the biggest witch hunt in politics.

I saw it unfolding and got turned off by the way the dems and certain factions of their voter base were behaving;

All I saw were a bunch of people behaving like fascists, accusing the other of being fascist.

Now that they have won, I am not confident that things will get better. no, probably worse.

That was the reason why I thought Trump would win again.

Trump could have won very easily had he played it straight, but Trump never played it straight as he put his interest before the country’s. He even messed it up by telling his supporters not to mail in their votes, but to vote in person, so that he can claim as the winner on the election night just because walk in votes would be counted first which gave him the lead, then he wanted the vote counting to stop. How fucked up was that?

The New York Times
Pressure Mounts on Republicans to Buck Trump Amid Impeachment Battle

Shane Goldmacher and Nick Corasaniti
Thu, January 14, 2021, 8:44 PM

Republican lawmakers are facing intensifying pressure from some longtime allies and financiers over their continued ties with President Donald Trump, as they reckon with taking stands on impeachment and protecting themselves politically to survive the 2022 midterm primaries and elections.

From Amazon to Walmart, a lengthening list of blue-chip giants of corporate America — long a bastion of GOP money — are pledging to cut off funds to Republicans who opposed certifying the victory of President-elect Joe Biden. An arm of Charles Koch’s political and nonprofit network, which is one of the largest and most influential in conservative circles and spent about $60 million in federal elections last year, said that opposing certification would be a factor that would “weigh heavily” in determining its future spending decisions.

And a handful of Democratic and independent groups are pledging to spend aggressively on advertising against Republican lawmakers who opposed certifying the results, with the first ads already hitting the airwaves in Wisconsin, Missouri, Texas and California.

Seems to be consistent overall.

I do t see an issue.

Not just that but over 17 million US citizens were pulled from below the poverty lines and gained employment.

BTW, the US hardly has a trade war with anyone. All Trump did was lower corporate taxes and put protectionist tariffs on US goods manufactured overseas.

Australia is the one with a trade war. And things seem to be going very well for us under the circumstances of COVID. Our economy is just chugging along.

China made dog kebab out of the foolhardy Trump government... yet Trump was lying profusely that he was teaching China a lesson!

Yes, the Republicans consistently pile on the debt and the Democrats shave it off!
