Some QAnon followers flew from California to DC in the hopes of watching Trump's return to power.

QAnon devotees believed March 4 marked the day Trump would be sworn in for a second term in office.

One couple said they'd taken time off work to fly to DC and had been waiting for something to transpire.

We have idiots like these in every country. They are called sovereign citizens, or at least that’s what they call themselves. They do not recognize police authority, laws etc etc.

We have them in Australia. We had a Cypriot girl for instance refusing to cooperate with police at a Covid check point. They let her through only to be ambushed the very next day by tactical police who stopped her car. They told her to get out for she is under arrest. She refused so they smashed her window and dragged her out, cuffed her and a wagon cane to take her to the jail house.

These people don’t bring anything to their knees. They are just loud and obnoxious conspiracists. They operate in the outer fringes of society.

What the media are doing though is bringing democracy to its knees. Trump has nothing at all to do with QAnon. But the media are hell bent on saying he does.

...well the police were overwhelmed, (they were left unprepared because the military brass just couldn't get it together in time; why, is still a big question), the government came to a grinding halt, and it was clear that the crowd were there just like the times of the old west (and the south till relatively recently), to lynch, and to burn the whole house down.

Whatever you can say about this past summer and all that disruption across America, no one was calling to hang Mike Pence, no one had the intention to literally take over the government itself.
