GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham says the GOP has no political future without Donald Trump.

He told the Washington Post that there is "no construct" where the party can be successful without Trump.

A battle is being fought in the GOP between Trump loyalists and those who want to reject him.

See more stories on Insider's business page.

Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina said that the Republican Party cannot be successful without the backing of former President Donald Trump and his supporters.

What happened to the impeachment?

I don’t know what it is that you are trying to say, Max. Please clarify. :?

Anyone with any understanding how bad Trump has been to the GOP, they just have to look at the numbers in the 2020 election.

Yes I know, those numbers do not mean anything you are saying because the election was stolen from Trump!

So now you recognize that he is going to come back?

Biden and Harris are going to resuscitate the shit out of him.

Come back all he wants as he is going nowhere, and neither is the broken Banana Republican Party as they have become the dysfunctional family of political cannibals of their own, to what they did to Elizabeth Cheney. She is going to become a catalyst to rot the GOP from within as she will continue to put Trump down. Her father Dick Cheney and other influential Republicans might just split the GOP altogether. This is all great news to the Democratic Party in the next midterm elections next year and the Presidential election in 2024. :D

Your question has no meaning as it stands without context.

The context is that trump was going to get impeached.

So, what happened to the impeachment?

What happened is what always happens, that those who are impeached are never removed from office, but instead they are humiliated and a black stain is placed on their legacy and remembered by history for all times, and in Clinton’s case, it was the DNA stain.

In Trumps case, it was twice over, first ever, therefore history will always remember him, but for all the wrong reasons. :D

I thought Clinton got done for lying to the Supreme Court?

I reckon Trump wants to make it 3. Now, that would be hard to beat.

Actually , it was the Grand Jury, which is something totally different.

In the eyes of Clinton or anyone who is halfway educated and can differentiate between past and present tenses, Clinton did not lie to the Grand Jury, but as can one imagine, Grand Jury are made up by just average citizens and not scholars. That where what the definition of “is” is comes to play in Clinton’s case. Clinton answered the question he was asked correctly, which was, “is there a relationship between you and Ms. Lewinsky” and Clinton said “no”, because by then, there wasn’t one. To some this may be splitting hairs, but in Law, it needs to be absolute, and Clinton was.
