No. I've been watching him for a few years for may reasons such as:

1) he is a good comedian,
2) he is a pretty good stand up kind of fellow,
3) he is liberal and so am I,
4) he believes what he preaches and is passionate about his values.

I do not believe he is a commie. Nor do I care if he was. At best, he is left but I describe him as liberal. And oh, I don't have a problem with the left, especially when they aspire to liberal values, which they have not for some time now.

The narrative he and I support are for the citizenry of each country to possess the power rather than what we have today.
