NB: In your country when someone says they’ve given up drinking they were most likely an alcoholic... but here in Cyprus we mean abstaining from casual drinking!

Other than not drinking because of poor health in some, why would one want to stop casual drinking?

I like my beer on occasion, like my wine on occasion, Whiskey, Gin and whatever else on occasion.

What harm is there for being a responsible social drinker?

I have never smoked in my life other than couple of joints 40 years ago, but I do enjoy my casual drinking.

I can count on one hand getting drunk and still be aware of my surroundings.

Well, it wasn't my intention to turn this into - excuse me whilst I revert to what you insist is an entirely acceptable - and in fact approved of - forum term, cunt session.

Back in 2015, and for quite a while afterwards, a couple of years or so, when you were ranting about the SAS/Hiroshima and all sorts of other ridiculous shite. When, apparently, it was a case of "Watch me Robin, whilst I get rid of this hypocrite in 20 minutes" you were actually a total piss-head. Intermixed with, whilst you were boasting about screwing your client's wife, piously preaching how 350 million US citizens had "no moral compass". I did get the impression that you were a bit of a ............ revert............... hypocritical and seldom opposed cunt who thinks he owns this forum.

TBH, apart from that I've really no strong opinions on the matter.
