Quite a surprise but no pain… I’m just sorry you’ve been in agony since 2015! :?

Now, how can I make your butthurt go away? :?

Take your time in answering… alternatively you may call a friend.

Keep trying. I actually only stuck around because of you. I love keyboard warriors.

You think of yourself as a big fish.................... but you're in a very small pond.

This is a dead forum. A dozen or so active members. Mostly fixated on one subject. Despite that, there's an impetus to reduce the membership even further. Witness the continual, vitriolic, campaign against one of the biggest contributors. Let's get rid of this hypocrite (in 20 minutes?).

You used to be a drunkard poster. Expressing pious opinions about others on the matter seems a bit...................... hypocritical.

From time to time most of the members go at each other, but not to a point of trying to get any member to leave the forum. I have had my share of major faul language usage with MR-from-NG, GR, Lordo, Erol and few others who are no longer here. I think it builds character and sharpens ones debating skills. At the end of the day there is no malice and everyone makes a full circle siding with each other depending on the topic. Anyone who gets offended on this forum should just stay away from “open forum” discussions. We are all seasoned debaters here and no need for “kid glove” treatments, thank you!

Ohh, come on. Chip? He's left - again - perhaps. This forum means absolutely nothing to me. I normally contribute little but do enjoy reading about "the war against Paphitis".

As far as wanting to be like you. :? You're life's achievement seems to be as an IT nerd, running a small-time business from Nicosia. Which, it seems to you, is a big deal. When you're not pounding your keyboard at home "proving" anti-US conspiracy theories of course. All "Theatrics" mostly though.

I think you confuse - certainly in your own case - piss taking with entertainment.

Why don't you finish the (non) bottle and get yourself off to bed. Gotta tap, tap, tap tomorrow after all. No?

Despite your foul mouthed tendencies :) I like you Kiks - and generally enjoy your posts. You've obviously got around and the US/ Switzerland thing's intriguing. I bear you no malice.

It impedes programming. Without this sacrifice the browser would never be.

OK, but surely you don’t work 24/7!

Just to give you an idea… imagine having to solve a long list of excruciatingly complex riddles while having even the lightest of hangovers from yesterday’s drinking. You wouldn’t be able to perform!

Sometimes even 48 hours after drinking can affect your ability to programme.

Is this the norm in the industry with all the programmers or something just with you?

I am not an alcoholic by any means or even a needy drinker, but I do enjoy my stiff drink now and then.

I don't know about others but I can't do it when there's scotch in my system and I'm sure you know how it stays in your system for 1-2 days; keep in mind that browser programming is pretty hardcore.

I've started to drink a bit this year but now I'm in the browser's 4th year (mostly maintenance) so I can relax more... but the first couple of years when I had so much to catch up with, it could only be achieved with ZERO alcohol.

Thanks. Sacrifices are always made for different purposes, some more drastic than others.

Yes, you may recall that I also abstained from the forum for a year which had to be done to complete this project… but don’t assume I tortured myself because I absolutely loved what I had achieved and wouldn’t change a thing despite the pain.

I was actually making general statement for all of us, LR.

My foul mouth is only directed to bad cops, Trump and most of the politicians. Few years ago most members on the forum used foul mouths at each other, but we have become more civilized as of late. :D

Yes, you were absent for a while and more than once. MR-NG was getting concerned when you went AWOL recently. :D

LondonFella kinda reminds me of a (presumably) female that joined us back in 2015(?) and kept insisting that all aliases here were FAKE and that I was a puppeteer playing all the characters to boost forum popularity!

I still have her PMs stored… maybe I should post them in a thread here for a laugh. :)

Fair cop. It was me. Currently I'm playing LR, Milti and Paphitis. I used to do RH but it all got too psychotic. :eyecrazy:

If you did a quarter of the stuff LR did and achieved in his life, I might actually start calling you a man.

I mean who do you think you’re kidding.
