I have decided to put my ilkokul diploma into good use. So i had an attempt to understand what is going on in the energy market. Here goes.

Interesting information about Energy Prices.
The first thing we have to realise is that the Energy price is governed by how much we get charged from Gas burning power stations. All other suppliers of other forms of fuel including renewables have to charge that high price.

The raw material used in a gas power station is 41% of the charge the Grid pays the power suppliers. That leave 59% for the rest of the charge that makes up what the grid pays for it.

In the last year or so the price of gas in the market as gone up by 3.68 times. Today the rpice is actually 2.6 times. This makes the supply of gas to the generators to go up 150% when 3.6 times is used. So, when the 59% of the rest of the costs are added to the cost it brings it up to 209% with 2.6 times makes it only 157%. The charge that the Grid charges is not changed by the gas price and nor is the charges that the retails charge.
Considering there is no extra costs involved, how did the retailers double the standing charge and managed to increase the price of energy to us by 500% before the cap was applied?
Clearly the industry is out to make excessive profits on our backs.

Interesting news about our Penny.

I suppose in for a penny in for a pound. and hope for the best.

So, what else do we know about her?

In an eclectic pre-politics career, she worked as a magician's assistant, in hospitals and orphanages in post-Communist Romania, and for the Freight Transport Association.

She headed the Conservative Party's youth wing and was a press officer for William Hague when he was leader.

But she is probably best known outside Westminster for taking part in ITV's celebrity diving show Splash! in 2014.

Moving onto her political career, under David Cameron she was armed forces minister. She then became the first woman to serve as defence secretary under Theresa May, but was sacked after a few months when Boris Johnson took over as PM.

His wife I guess did not want them in the same room.

Rumour has it that if the members get a say it will be Johnson. However, the MPs want Sunak. So, there's a malicious story going around that there could be a stitch-up, to keep the vote in Parliament.

Mordaunt's currently running a very poor third.

She definitely gets Milti's vote though.

Milti is a dirty old man.

In fact, the way she performed in parliament, she is the first Swine who came to the dispatch box and actually answered a question since the milk snatcher days.

This makes interesting reading too.

It makes no difference who comes in now. They are on a slide into the shit they created.
