You mean SlaveLondino, not at all. I can leave any time I wish and return in the same way. There are reasons why my presence is required in the Swineland. In the meantime I can enjoy life in Paradise Island and Swineland. My sadness is not personal, it is a feeling for all those who are very poorly paid and have to make ends meet. And assholes like LR who rather not talk about their demise in case it makes his homeland look bad. It makes no difference how rotten it is to the core, so long as we do not talk about it, he feels much better.

I guess it is a bit like Hotel California. You can check out anytime you like but you will return.

I use the term SlaveLandia because it's universal. In mini SlaveLandia Cyprus the situation is worse my friend. Watch the young people here trying to make a living and you will end up in tears...

There is one difference, RoC is not one of the richest countries on earth. Also at least in RoC the workers who are members of a union are better paid and have better pensions. RoC is also suffering from small island syndrome where some people have no choice. This has been going on for a hundred years.
SwineLand on the other hand is suffering from being ruled by people with small selfish minds, who believe that they are in control of the part of the world they used to rule in the empire. We also have about 300K people who leave Swineland each year too.

There is clearly no corruption in Swineland as it is truly democratic.

14th June 2017 fire engulfed a 10 story building and 72 men women and children burnt alive.

Construction companies pay a lot of money towards the Swine party. The rules about which materials to use have been relaxed and construction companies are able to certify a construction material as safe for fire despite the fact that all the test that have been carried out is contrary to the fact. So the Swine built more that 650 blocks of flats all over the country, with this type of cladding which burns better than petrol. So far only one caught fire but sure as hell others will too. It has now been 5.5 years since the fire and not one other block has had its cladding removed. Not one individual has been brought to justice. The corporation has been charged with corporate manslaughter and got fins some money.

Of course corruption does not take place in democratic capitalist countries.

Anyway back to laughing.

This is Dominic Rab. He is in government today. That's all you need why this country has turned into Swineland.

You still stuck on that phrase. It is an American saying. Which bit of I am taking the piss out of Americans do you not get. First time I heard it it was in a cowboy film.
They were about to lynch a man and one objected saying "we have to give him a fair trial".
The other than replied "Ok, we will give him a fair trial and than we;ll hang him".

You are one dense sub-human being comes to mind but that would be insulting to the sub-humans.

Well, you're correct in saying they're my people. Because of course, they are certainly not yours. Despite all the BS about your being born and bred in the UK (which isn't good for your standing on this forum actually   ). You're a Turkish Cypriot. Be proud to admit it. Despite all their problems it's a great country with a big heart. They even - mostly - tolerate me on their forum.

The people ARE the country and had you ever wandered out of your north London bubble you might have taken in how much ordinary folk actually care for the ole place. You have no allegiance to any such thing of course. You're in essence a man without a soul in that respect.

As always - even in the food and astronomy threads FFS - you can't resist introducing a load of totally irrelevant bollocks about the US.

It was you, on this very thread, that posted you'd execute Conservative politicians/businessmen - after giving them a fair trial - in order to protect ordinary working class people from exploitation. Not that you're ever hypocritical. Normally, just before you've tended to pop over to the Ukrainian thread, in order to support an invasion that's resulted in the deaths of thousands of innocent civilians and forced homelessness/refugeehood on millions. Well, you know - gotta stay in with the boys

I understand you entirely.

Please.................. make it 300,000 and one. Go home.

We are in the middle of a cost of living crisis where workers are not being offered 10% pay rises but Corporations like Centrica are allowed to increase their profits (Not Turnover) by 300%.

It is full of shit to the core. It is time to nationalize the buggers.

I say give them a fair trial and then hang em.

But Centrica boss Chris O'Shea said the company last year invested £75m in supporting customers of British Gas, the UK's largest electricity and gas supplier, providing "much needed stability and support".

That makes it 2 pounds given to some customers for every 100 pounds profit. Fuck that is not even short fuckin change.
