Zzzzzzzx….gosh bordo is such a nincompoop!

Nuclear fuel is has zero emissions as opposed to diesel electric.

Anyway, back on topic.

It’s been a tumultuous day here in Oz with the deal for acquisition of 12 nuclear powered submarines and the deal for the US and UK to share top secret nuclear technologies and IP with Australia.

It’s absolutely great to see such an epic example of trilateral defence and security cooperation between us and the US and UK.

This most certainly changes the situation in the Asia Pacific with Australia now acquiring weapons and capabilities that only a few countries have, and as well as that, acquiring a massive deterrent and a capability of having 12 submarines which will be out there for months, without the need to resurface and travelling through the oceans at 55km/hr abd carrying such sophisticated weaponry which can send cruise and long range missiles thousands of kilometers away.

Plus the fact that they will be ultra quiet due to the nuclear propulsion.

As for the Greens, they have provided a great comical side show. Pretty hard taking these nut jobs seriously. :D

The great news is also that thousands of new jobs will be created and that all workers will be transferred to the Australian Submaribe Corporation which I presume will be the company building the submarines as well as a host of US and UK firms.

The Australian docks will be building these subs for the UK and US as well but there will be other sites building them in the US and UK.

Win win for everybody.

The best thing of all is that all US, UK and Aussie subs will be interoperable as the technology will be the same. Launch codes are relayed through Pearl Harbour and Harold E Holt Navy base in Exmouth, Western Australia,

This is so cool…. 8)

Chy-na can eat it too. :D

The French project was plagued with problems. They got 2 billion from the allocated 90 billion. But there maybe a few hundred million in contractual fines.

I’m sure DNSS are very upset but that’s business.

On a bilateral level, Australia and France have a great friendship and alliance. I knew Australia was looking for an out because they regretted not going down the nuclear path. These nuclear submarines will be better, more capable and more potent and still cost less.

As for France, Macron and Morrison are believed to be good friends. As in friends on a personal level. France has always been good to Australia the last few years. Macron has been instrumental in getting Australia Associate membership into NATO. He always made a point of personally inviting Sustralia to all security summits.

That won’t change as there is a defence pact where the Australian Navy is tasked with patrolling French EEZ interests and also French Territorial Seas in the Pacific. Sometimes with other French Navy ships but most of the time unilaterally as France might not have assets in the Pacific.

So basically, France is using Australian Naval presence in the Pacific to protect French interests.

I do not like the fact that France may be hard done by. We, Australia as a country do not want to harm or disadvantage France which is considered an extremely important ally and friend.

But Australia has to do the right thing for itself and IPT for the best submarine solution which will provide Australua with the best outcomes and capability and there is no doubt that this deal with the US and UK does that, propelling our wonderful country into the nuclear age and sending the strongest possible message to Chy-na and other billigerants around the world, such as North Korea and Iran.

There will be other spin offs with this nuclear industry as well, such as Nuclear Fusion Energy bringing our emissions down to nett zero very quickly.

Don’t understand the greenies to be honest. Not many people do. But they are funny as I said and provided great entertainment for Australian families. They are kind of our version of Benny Hill.

Crocodile tears from the right people are so delicious!

Just so salty.

You should be thanking Australia for using Green Nuclear energy rather than diesel.

And for contributing so much to global security. You Europeans will be the first asking for help if something were to occur.

We have a lot of yellow cake here so we might as well make our own nuclear fuel rods.

This is a new era it appears.

If France joins the “AUKUS” group, will it then become “FAUKUS” or “FUKUSA”?

Well looks like waves being produced. The French had made a nuclear offering to Australia which wasn’t taken up. I guess the problems just took their toll in the long run when the Americans came into town and told Australia they are willing to offer LA Class off the shelf at half the price. A tried and true proven technology that works and sends shudders off fear globally.

France was apparently notified only a few hours before the announcement by Australian diplomats in Paris followed by a special phone call to Macron by Australian PM.

France’s Foreign Affairs Minister is livid and apparently this is believed to cost Nacron the next French general election.

There has been a reaction by Pootin saying that the announcement is disturbing fir peace and security. Oh the salt is most delicious I got to say.

Chy-na also realising its worst nightmare.
