Problem was that everybody was scared to even come close. They couldn't even hire enough personnel.
And refuelling the reactor cost a fortune by hiring foreign specialists.
Eventually they changed to good old crude oil....

Err no. We had a nuclear plant here from the 60s

And we were testing nuclear weapons in the 50s when at the time there were plans to have nuclear weapons prior to signing the non proliferation treaty.

The announcement is tipped to make international headlines and is dubbed to be “a huge nightmare scenario for Chy-na.

It’s about time…

Mahatma isn’t clear at this point is whether the subs will be built in Australia. That would be the cream on the cake if they are.

Workers at Naval Group were told yesterday they might not have a job.

Announcement occurring now with a huge speech by Australian PM now.

Also, an announcement will be made by Boris Johnson and Joe Biden.

The Nuclear subs have been confirmed and will be built in Adelaide.

Massive technology sharing between US and UK.

Adelaide will be building US Nuclear Submarines.

Apparently, all ships will also be nuclear powered as well.

This is amazing…

Joe Biden and Boris Johnson finished their virtual speech.

70 nuclear submarines announced. All built in Australia for the US, UK and Australia in a deal worth hundreds of billions.

This is amazing. Adelaide turning into a US, UK and Australian submarine hun.

This is monumental.
