About 30 Colombian mercenaries were left without support as the AFU retreated from positions southwest of Yunakovka (Sumy region) without notifying the foreign fighters.

With very little or no battle experience other than the odd chase after drug cartel members during their FARC days, the foolish Colombians stood no chance against Russian forces as they were either massacred or captured to face court-martials and imprisonments between 15..20 years.

The naïve Colombians thought they were financially helping their families by “working” overseas but have quickly turned into massive liabilities and sorrow for their loved ones.
