Ukraine had the choice to stop shelling the Donbass regions,

They had the choice to do nothing and remain neutral to avert a war.

I mean, what was the problem with being neutral and friendly with Russia and the west?

Russia had no intention of invading Ukraine before this.

Well, they fucked up here and now the price has gone up exponentially for everyone.

This war they are fighting is absolute stupidity, pure and simple.

Ukraine can't stop shelling I'm afraid.

Not only that, but in phase 2, Ukraine Military will be moving in to the Donbass to face the Russian Military in a final push towards the Russian Border.

Ukraine was invaded in 2014 when they inserted their own military in Ukrainian territory under the guise of militias. Now these areas will need to be liberated at all cost.

Russia had every intention of invading Ukraine from 2013 and onwards.

And I have no doubt that if Ukraine stops, the Russians will try to move against Kyiv once more.

its a stupid war, the end doesnt justify the means. Or the means dont justify the end.

I get the impression that Russia will never let Ukraine join NATO. They will probably nuke it before that happens.

It doesn't look like it. Up until now, all we have seen is retreat after retreat.

What makes you think a few missiles is going to change anything now? It's not as if the criminal invaders didn't try it in the North and South and in Kyiv and they got fucked in the ass.

Maybe Russians enjor being ficked by Ukrainian Villo.

How is the battle of Mariupol going? I mean geez, it will be Christmas soon.

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells...

The Russians havent retreated from my point of view,

They are consistently making territorial gains,

The best thing Zelensky can do in the immediate short term is negotiate a ceasefire to resolve all outstanding issues with the Russians.
