I do not support this war, I do not support the invasion and occupation of Ukraine by Russia.

Ukraine has the absolute right to join NATO, but that does not mean that they should. There are nuances in every situation, and although the two situations are similar, there are also differences.

The difference between the situation in Ukraine and the situation in Cyprus 60 years ago was that Cyprus was under colonial rule, they were fighting to free themselves from the yoke of colonialism and occupation by another country.

Ukraine is independent and they have democracy already. They are just fighting to join a military alliance when they didnt really need to. They could have stayed as they were without these consequences.

Cyprus's cause was more just back then than what Ukraine is fighting for today. Would you support a Cypriot war with Turkey so Cyprus can join NATO?
