Imo the BEST Russia could get a week to a month ago was simply some agreement that Ukraine will never join Nato.
Too bad neither the stupid Ukrainians nor the corrupt west ever agreed to that. Their argument of course was "the peoples right to self determination" out of it's decolonization context as supported by our General on board.
I still beleive Russia was right in not wanting Nato at it's doorstep.
However this attack on Ukraine makes absolutely no sense unless Russia's scope is still the same, i.e. to force Ukraine to sign up such an agreement.
What the western media claim that Putin's dream is to revive the USSR just doesn't fit. Even if Russia takes the whole Ukraine and installs her own affiliated Government they would still have Nato at their doorstep. But then again maybe the Russians think that Russia is one thing, their controlled affiliated Govnts are another and could still act as a buffer for Russia.

Putin however now turned into a real puttin (πουττιν=cunt) with all these threats for unleashing his nuclear weapons.
I really hope he never orders such a stupid thing, or else his Generals will just finish him off. Just watch how they look at him at their meetings. Not a very friendly look...

Maybe common sense will prevail at the upcoming talks. If not, there's no doubt Ukraine will fall within a few weeks by simple Russian encircling the major cities, cutting them off from supplies and wait. Unless of course in the meantime Russia does something really stupid.

She just said a large deployment of ground forces, believed to include fuel and armored vehicles.
