Yet what drives young people to be leaving in masses?

...ask yourselves.

Russians who stay are braver than most, call them Patriots in the face of "Russians".

They are about to use nuclear weapons and you are asking if it's at war??
It drives the RICH. Those who can afford it. One out of 200 is rich don't you think?

And if they do, they are finished.

Pyrpolizer wrote:The problem with all these rallies is that the people are protesting for the unbearable increase in prices but at the same time do support the sanctions, or don't even know what caused it. Of course there are educated people who do know the reasons, but they get absolute minimal or no access to the media to enlighten the herd. In Cyprus the vast majority think the cause is the war in Ukraine as such. And since there's nothing we can do about it, they don't even protest.

People are aware what is contributing to inflation and there are multiple factors. We had inflation since before the war started.

Very few are aware it's because of the sanctions that backfired. Just wait and see the effect on the cap for natural gas...

But irrespective of the fact that the war could be making it worse, people in western countries who are informed of the root causes, understand that the war is a case of illegal invasion and annexation by a tyrant who poses a threat to European security and they also understand that this threat has never been seen before since NAZI Germany and WW2. You forgot the word "unprovoked" They understand, that Ukraine is in a fight to defend their homeland and they also understand that if Ruzzia isn't stopped, they and other countries will be next - Poland, Georgia, Moldova, Latvia. Lithuania, Estonia or even Finland.
Nonsense ^ 2

Europeans have seen far worse. Paying more for things is nothing compared to 7.5 million refugees, and hundreds of thousands being killed. Europeans are big enough to understand they have it very good compared to Ukrainians who are suffering more than high prices.

Really? You once say only a few understand the reasons and are ready to digest it, now you generalized it to EVERYBODY. Winter is at their door step. Get prepared for mass funerals.

People (the majority) are thankful for what they have which is peace in their countries, and paying more for things is a very small price to pay compared to the alternative.

Assuming of course the altrernative is war in their own Countries. Which is nonsense ^ 2

It seems Cypriots like you, have forgotten what invasion is like.
I don't remember anyone stepping in to help us. No billions $$$ of armaments. All I remember is the British helping the Invaders, and Kissinger giving the green light to the Turks.
Strange! Ukraine must worth it's refugees and lands in gold.

The sanctions haven't backfired. They have lost 12% of their GDP.

And, they are using T-62 tanks already. Soon, it will be WW2 tanks that they will take out of storage.

So the sanctions are having the desired effect. It just takes time. And if the sanctions are in place for some years, the Russian economy will lose trillions.

Ukraine is at war. And this war is important to the west because it's the last line of defence for Europe before Article 5 is triggered.

People understand and public opinion is against Ruzzia in the west.

They are even getting paid for the loot into a Swiss Bank account. Good for them!

Not only not dieing, but becoming well off in the process and getting a pack of cigarettes.

Do you really believe this BS Paphitis? :D

I got the info from a good source inside Ukraine.

Yes I do believe there is good potential that this is accurate (but it could be wrong). If it is true, it makes perfect sense so it could be very true. Ukraine kills 2 birds. What is not wrong is the surrendering of Ruzzians with Tanks and APCs. There is video evidence.

And what is not wrong is that Ukraine has a number of elaborate schemes that allow Ruzzians to surrender and be granted protections and that Ruzzians are taking up the offer and calling the Ukrainian Hotlines to get their surrender instructions.

Even newly mobilized troops that have just arrived are surrendering the next day.

You should be happy. This is great for the Swiss economy.

Hey Paphitis, see if you can tell the difference in what the Headline states and what the first paragraph states?

Don’t be a sucker to Ukraine’s BS propaganda.

Over 2,000 in a few weeks: Russian soldiers surrender en masse - Ukraine's Main Directorate of Intelligence, Ministry of Defence

4 october, 2022

More than 2,000 Russian soldiers have asked to surrender to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in a few weeks as part of the "I want to live" project.

The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reports.

"After the successful Ukrainian offensive in the Kharkiv region, there was a surge of applications for the "I want to live" project. Also, of course, after the announcement of the so-called partial mobilization, not only soldiers who are in Ukraine, but also those called up in the territory of Russia and their relatives began to call, as well as residents of the temporarily occupied Crimea. In a few weeks, we already have more than 2,000 such appeals," Andriy Yusov, representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence, said.
Thanks to the "I want to live" project, Russians can avoid going to the front line, and if the soldier is already mobilized, then stay alive.
Yusov emphasized that 100,000 people have already been mobilized in Russia and are being sent to hot spots, to the front.

https://global.espreso.tv/over-2000-in- ... %20reports.

There are en masse surrenders Kikapu so that part is true. And there is one hell of a lot more than just 2000.

But these surrenders are NOT all surrenders that called the hotline.

The hotline is a very good opportunity for new conscripts in particular to choose life.

Sounds like you’re seriously butthurt though...

...indeed this "handful of gays" measures hundreds of thousands; some may never return once this "Russian" regime is crushed (read: implodes).

TOTAL TRASH! :)

You’re making shit up as you go along…

700,000 Russian men have left Ruzzia in the last few weeks.

How is the war going for them? How is the war going for you?

Have you seen all the newly liberated areas. Ukrainian Military will be in Kherson this month. Only 7 clicks to go before the Ukrainians start smoking some Ruzzian Ass!

This from Captain Denys Davydov. He sends his regards to all you bitches.

I have a website where I can pay money to help with the Ukrainian War Effort and get my custom message written on an Escalibur Precision Artillery Round and get a nice video and photo when the Ukrainian Military fire it onto Ruzzians. I will start a poll so you bitches can help me with my custom message. :D

I will cherish that photo forever knowing that I contributed 1 escalibur round to the Ukrainian War effort.
