The price paid has been very high by both sides while the Sine Yankees are bathing in human blood, Ukranian and Russian blood to be exact and some Chechen blood too. I condemn all killings wherever by whoever. The guilty must be brought to face justice but hang on a moment the Swine Yanks have not signed up this sort of thing.

How dare you accuse me of being Turk. I have never even been to Turkey for a holiday. Some time ago I used to feel guilty about what the Ottomans did to their neighbours but then I found out the truth. My ancestors were not the oppressors at all, they were the oppressed. I felt so much guilt for decades, a day did not go by without me going to a confession. I had to pray 5 times a day and fast 3 months instead of one for forgiveness.

I appreciate you're far from "home" there in Canada and suspect you've been so for quite some time (perhaps longer than I've lived in Cyprus?) but IMHO you'd benefit from departing the "family" view to one less prejudiced and more objective. If you don't mind my saying so.

Had somebody raised a thread and for almost 18 months daily and relentlessly posted vitriolic, denigrating posts about your country, frequently calling it "Swineland" I suspect you might just have gotten a bit pissed off with that person. I think I've been a model of restraint to be honest,
