1. All domains expire (and renew) this is not the first time for CF.
2. The admin recently installed new widgets for ad delivery to rake it the big bucks.

True if set to "auto-renew". That’s the first thing I always turn off because if something happens to you they’ll just keep milking your bank account forever.

I am still alive and I am (hopefully) not about to die any time soon!

I have been very busy with other projects lately so unfortunately I am not able to dedicate any time for the forum other than doing what is needed to keep it online.

The earnings from the forum are close to nothing, but thankfully the hosting/domain costs aren't that high either, so I have no problem to keep the forum alive for a small loss.

The extra ad was added by Google itself. I will disable it.

The forum has been essentially closed for new members for several years now because I didn't have the time to deal with spammers, so only members who registered years ago are able to post.

I am open to suggestions if some of the active members are interested to become moderators. Maybe somebody who is liked by every currently active member and has a bit of extra time. Don't know if such member(s) exist. If there are, let me know. I will have a bit of time in the 2nd and 3rd week of August to arrange any possible changes.

I’m so happy you’re well… oh my goodness the thoughts that went through my mind!

I must say that was a cruel thing to do… you could’ve logged on for 2 minutes just to say “I’m OK!”!

Anyways, after a big sigh of relief...

I more than satisfy the condition “liked by all” because I get fan mail every single day, so I hereby nominate myself as forum moderator!

Yes Lordo and Kicks are both great guys... but they’re not very computer savvy so they’ll probably be rather lost in front of the Admin control panel!

I don't have the time to log in everyday... Anyway last time i made a forum it ended up making this one look like a kindergarden.

This explains why we are so few left in here. I noticed each attachment is viewed by 3 times more than the active members, which probably means there are people waiting to join but can't.
I can do the job of approving new members, and rejecting spammers if you show me how.
Not interested to become a moderator though.

Alternatively you may turn the joining of new members to automatic, and give me or someone else the authority to ban spammers.

If I am selected as Admin, I can assure the members that I will be fair. No nastiness will be allowed other than a bit of banter.
