Sorry, but I have trust issues with many...

And that makes things a little difficult. Because I'm trying to work out who I like.

I can only think of 2 members worthy enough.

Whilst understanding you point of view, as admin says we need another mod or two in order to accept new members and also to stop any spam.
I dont think theres any real need to "like" the person(s) who volunteer to do this role,but in order to expand (ie get new members) we need someone to take on the role.

I suggested GR and Lordo as they both spend a lot of time on the forum so would probably have the time to do the job and the forum would probably not alter a lot

Who would you suggest? You said you can think of 2 so put their names forward and see if they would do the role, or maybe you and another could take it on

I welcome your input Richard - and respect your POV.

But moderators do have a lot of power, aside from approving other members. This is a forum with varying political viewpoints, some of them quite extreme toi say the least. If one of the moderaators has a particuarly extreme viewpoint which quite outwardly endorses on forum the nuclear annihilation of the west, then there is great potential that persons like myself who is born of the west and hence supports the free speech, liberal and western democratic values of the west, will be censored. this forum becomes a microcosm of The Soviet Union, and the Moderators are Chairmen, not moderators.

People are free to nominate whoever they like.
