As I wrote in another thread I would prefer if there is a consensus for the new moderator(s).

So please write at least 5 names, preferably more, among the currently active members whom you believe would be acceptable as moderators. You do not need to write your own name.

Hopefully one or more members will be acceptable by all.

The moderators will mostly deal with approving new members and rejecting spam.

If you appoint a moderator who will have any other power than simply approving new members you will destine your forum to death. We are all extremely biased and cliquish here. I mean look here, the fantasy boy even threatened to abandon the forum, unless one of his favorites gets the "job".
