...of course, this was expected. The article discusses the other candidates in detail as well.

Unfortunately only for those who understand Turkish. Last comments from Deniz Gezmis just before he was hung. There are people and there are people. They are not all the same.

Ok so we have had the election, no news organisation has mentioned the fact that Erdogan has excluded people from standing or the fact that he silenced opposition everywhere. They all claim it has been a success.

Results as it stands
Erdogan 49.42%
Kilicdaroglu 44.95%
Ogan 5.2%

Ogan is a Pro Ataturk candidate (MHP) and Erdogan and his gang refer to Ataturk as a bastard.

It looks like Kilicdaroglu may well win the second round round.

Who knows?

I see the Erdogan share has climbed up to 49.5% with 99.87% of the votes counted. Somebody is in for a chop. The did not put enough votes on the spare boxes to get over 50%. Which is why Erdogan is very angry with his people.

I’m not sure the already counted vote percentage includes the international Turkish voters too?

Regardless, Erdogan will win in this round or if there is a second round.

It may well be by design by Erdogan to have a run-off to make the rest of the world to believe that there is actually a democratic system in Turkey!

There is a democratic system in Turkey. Because Turks came out to vote and the leader of the ultra nationalist party, who is allied with erdogans ak party came out and said so. The grey wolf said that Turkey is educating the word on what democracy is.

Now, I as someone who watches jorden peterson and candace owens online, and believes what the old grey wolf says, I hope erdogan wins, I support erdogan to win. In my opinion, as a British born greek cypriot International newspaper reader, erdogan is the best person to manage turkeys international reputation, economy, law and justice and civil rights in Turkey.

I have a feeling he will win too but there is slim chance he may not.

It is Bahceli that is aligned to Erdogan not MHP members. MHP members are Ataturkians. Erdogan's people refer to Ataturk as "Selanik Pichi" Selonikan Bastard. They also arranged the killing of one of MHP members and Erdogan's people covered it up. There is no knowing what a fascist will do just like our own fascists here.

Call me an optimist but I have a feeling Kilicdaroglu may win, but I agree it is a very small chance.
