How untrustworthy are the Turks?

For the record, I do not wish to go back before 1960 not because it does not suit me but because it is pointless. When an agreement is signed, what happened before is cleared and a new page is opened.

If you wish to discuss pre 1960 be my guest and I will show you how wrong you are. I have never denied what Dengtash or Kucuk did or TMT for that matter.

I am still waiting for RW response to Faximenos's comment about TCs being colonisers.

As to TCs taking side with the Brits. What a load of bullshit that is. There were 100,000 odd TCs in Cyprus pre 1960 and about 2,500 joined the auxiliaries and yes they did the worst to the GC EOKA suspects. And there you are Jerry blaming all the TCs siding with the Brits.

Have you ever considered why these people joined the Britts?
Could it be that they were unable to make a living and it was a way of earning a living.

Of course there were assholes like Turgut Yanegrali who would have joined them just to attack GCs legally.

Fukin hell and double fuckin hell. You are going to blame the TC community for the actions of a few.

It is funny how racism in certain people shines through eventually no matter how much you try to hide it.

Jerry you are a fuckin disgrace.

Pathetic little people like you who have to resort to expletives to make their point really can't be taken seriously and are unworthy of my time, especially when they ignore the historical causes of conflict. Using your "thought process" I say the Cyprus problem started in 1974.

In fact that's exactly what GCs who do not want peace say to this day. They would welcome you to their club.

So what you are saying is an International Agreement signed is meaningless, it can be ignored.

One thing I cannot stand is ignorant cunts who blame the whole community for the actions of a few. I will also tell you what I told the other cunt a few days ago. I have no wish or need to be taken seriously by any cunt.

Like I said go fuck yourself you racist cunt.

Typically you play the racist card when your "arguments" are shown to be worthless. As for International Agreements, the Treaty of Guarantee that respected the TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY and independence of Cyprus was part of the 1960 Agreement. You are in a hole - stop digging.

I do not normally side with the Turks but this road is being built for TCs. There is a lot of traffic on that road. Another side to this is the fact that there is no official crossing point there but people do mix and trade between themselves quite freely.

As to Turkish Troops on the island, read your constitution you stupid idiot. They are there legally and they will be there even after the agreement. Of course after the agreement most will go back except the 650 who were there in 1960. What ever happened to the 600 Greek officers who were there during the coup on top of the 950 that was there according to the constitution. Were they legal there, like fuck they were.

You can well talk about the UN resolutions. How many resolutions from the UN did you guys implement before 74. While you were attacking the defenseless civilians in Kochina and Kofunye or anywhere else you attacked before 1974 with those lovely tanks you bought back in 1964 and promised not to use them against TCs. Was that promise kept? And not a single Turkish troop in sight back in 64 and then again in 67. What about the 12,000 Greek soldiers who came to the island back in 1964, was that fuckin legal? Like fuck it was.

Let those with no sin throw the first stone. Fuck I though you were a good Christian but you aint even that faximos Get to the back of the que Faximos. Gets some brains before you spout your crap

They can all fuck off where they came from.

On a more pleasant note, I wonder how many of the above will lift a finger to implement any embargoes on Turkey. Lets face it even in 1974 they only implement embargos on arms sales, nothing else. And look at them now, they make tanks, planes and drones.

Final note though is how is it that the new GRoC leader has not even attempted to begin talks? What is he waiting for for pigs to learn to fly.

Enjoy

Idiots like you harp on about 1963 and its consequences - you make me sick! You ignore what Denktash and his thugs were up to before 1960 when, as British stooges, you lot were top dogs. What on earth did you expect to happen to your 18% minority once the British left? Zorlu wanted Cyprus to be returned to Turkey after the colonial power departed. Turkey managed to screw an undemocratic, unworkable "constitution" out of the British with the expectation that it would lead to inter-communal unrest and ultimately partition. As the dominant military power and with a pat on the back from Kissinger Turkey achieved its goal.

You come on here with you clever-dick smart*rse spoutings as if you know everything about the history of what went on, you make me sick.

Enjoy yourself

FOREIGN RELATIONS OF THE UNITED STATES, 1958–1960, VOLUME X, PART 1, EASTERN EUROPE REGION; SOVIET UNION; CYPRUS

207. Telegram From the Consulate in Nicosia to the Department of State 0
Nicosia, June 9, 1958, 4 p.m.
389. Had interview Deputy Governor Sinclair today regarding tragic events of last three days.1 He gave me details new severe emergency regulations enumerated Contel 388.2 Said Turk leaders here have been extremely uncooperative, refusing government’s requests urge restraint and instead, with utter cynicism, have repeated claim that Greek bomb at information center provoked Turk community. I pointed out admission Turk responsibility for later killings in words Kuchuk at Istanbul, who said Turk patriots “marched to Greek quarter killing two and wounding five” in retribution. Sinclair said all evidence, including condition interior building pointed to “planned” operation, and while government unable accuse openly, had informed press and wire services “for guidance” that incident apparently not Greek inspired.

He not so certain of role Ankara government but there again usual pattern would indicate complicity. In reply my query his assessment Turk purpose in forcing issue to verge civil war, Sinclair said “This is their all-out bid for partition”. In spite obvious discouragement local officials and seeming hopelessness of effort, HMG planning press on with new initiative June 17. I gave him some of worst FBIS transcripts Ankara radio output yesterday, pointing out that our reports were to effect public radios in various centers pouring forth these lies and inflammatory statements to masses Turks who later demonstrated as in Limassol, Ktima, Larnaca and Famagusta. Such broadcasts obviously contributed to tragedy last night’s knife and shovel killings Larnaca.

Sinclair agreed and said they now giving serious consideration jamming Ankara radio as well as Athens.

Also queried Deputy Governor with regard position Denktash 3 who, after fiery speech Nicosia and after request by Administration Secretary Reddaway for moderation, proceeded Larnaca and delivered [Page 623] same speech. Deputy Governor admitted they reexamining Denktash position in view recent actions. I then gave him FBIS transcript Kuchuk Istanbul speech for use by Governor when he meets Turk leaders this afternoon.

Comment: British now consider themselves in virtual Palestinian situation. In face events past few days and apparent willingness Turks go any length prove their point, do not see any hope for UK proposals unless we willing back them strongly. Utterly shameless, irresponsible manner in which Turks applying pressure here would seem call for some action our part to stop deteriorating Greek-Turk relations as well as situation on island. Am in no position judge whether this best accomplished in Ankara or at NAC meeting requested by Greece but do believe we cannot, as leaders this alliance, allow Cyprus situation drift any closer to chaos.

One thing you should know about Lordo. You know those blue jeans that have the tiny pocket on the right hand side? I've never bothered to find out what the fuck that pocket is there for but every blue jean has it. Well our Lordo can take 10 of each and every one of you out of that little pocket    :D :D

What a curious analogy - likening Lordo's "intellect" to a tiny cotton pocket. You remind me of the two patriotic cheerleaders who I saw at the Orams trial when the judgment was made. They sat in the front row sporting huge red rosettes with a photograph of Ataturk pinned to their proud chests, they were beaming from ear to ear in the expectation that former British PM's wife, Cherie Booth, had done them proud. They were sadly disappointed.

Were you one of those "patriots"?

What bullshiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.

What about the parliamentary integrity how did that work out. Were TC MPs allowed to return after 1965? Like fuck they were.

We have waited for peace agreement since 1963 and you boys have said no to every agreement including the one between Dengtash and Clerides where Dengtash accepted the 13 amendments. As if fuckin eoka did not do exact same thing to the TCs and GCs as TMT did to TCS and GCs. To cap it all fuckin police were their members. Put that in your fuckin pipe, light it and shove it where the sun does not shine you brainless moron.

You can even go before 300BC for all I care when the fuckin Griiiks invaded. My ancestors were in Cyprus before them you stupid cunt.

There is your racism plain an simple. You assume my ancestors were Ottoman because I identify as TC

Now fuck off.

Is there another country in the world where the police force joined a criminal organisation and kill innocent civilians?
