Also the Ginger wine is indeed really nice. It has this sweet flavour like comandaria and I like it!

Hey Rickers,

The Zivania you buy from abroad may be home made which means its far purer and stronger than what is permitted to be sold in shops.

For the real deal you would need to locate someone who make it themselves, I know such a man, the Zivania is distilled twice and exceeds 90% alcohol. If you are ever in London I can locate you some.

Thanks GG -- typically enough, I am usually only ever in London while I wait at Heathrow for my connecting flight to Larnaca, but if that changes anytime soon I'll let you know.
