Is homosexuality wrong?

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

Homosexuality is:

Perfectly normal. You wouldn't mind at all if your child was gay

19%
Natural anomaly. It is not gays fault. They should be treated without any discrimination
14

Acceptable. But gays should not show off their 'gayness' especially in the presence of children
4

Tolerable. They can do what they want in their own bedroom but they should act as normal people outside

Wrong. It should not be illegal but they should not be accepted by society.

Evil. It should be illegal. I don't like them!

It's such a broad question.

Wrong for what? Wrong for society, wrong for health, wrong for family?

And how are we interpreting the word wrong? As in, not right, not appropriate, disturbing, immoral, sinful, illegal?

If it's a moral question, then it's down to the conduct of the people in the relationship. If a gay man is unfaithful to his partner, it will hurt as much as a straight man being unfaithful to his wife or girlfriend.

If anyone can search Homosexuality in Ancient times he will see that this behaviour was well adopted even in Ancient Greece. See this website http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexual ... ent_Greece

Interesting . Also Alexander the Great had relationship with his childhood friend Hephaistion.

I think real love transcends everything, it doesnt mean lust, it means companionship, commonality, truth, trust, need, respect, true love isnt a perversion, and whoever finds it is lucky who ever they are and what ever orientation. everyones different in some way, and i wouldnt deny that to anybody.

If being different means to be persecuted, judged, and hated then its not them that is too be blamed, its those that have no humanity, whose ignorance says that they are the only ones that are perfect, and that dont yet understand natures anomallies. One day all will be made clear,

just because you dont understand now doesnt mean there is no answer to it. people used to burn witches because they understood herbs and their therapuetic aspects. Stop having closed minds and free yourselves from the confines of conditioning. Who else are you predjudiced against? as i dont think its isolated, will anyone be honest enough to say?

Unique_earthlink you are barking up the wrong tree. No one claims that being different is bad. I do not have a problem-personally- with gay people. All I am saying is that if I were a part of a gay couple, I would certainly not choose to raise children in Cyprus because either we like it or not the kid will face a lot of outside ridicule wether the gay couple are good parents or not.

I have no problems with gays in fact some of my best friends are gay.

However, there is no evidence for a ‘gay gene’.

It has been proven that during the gestation period the level of certain hormones affect the sexuality of the baby. I can’t remember any details but I can try to find the research paper if you are interested.

Its just a research, since then several came to disprove it. To me it doesnt matter wether they were born with it or they just chose it. It's their right. But I do think everyone's sexual choices is their own and they shouldnt throw it in other people's faces. My best friend is gay, not hiding it, but he is a professional in suits. Where he works, the gay guys are trying to fight the dress code so they can wear skirts and dresses. Even he thinks thats too much.

I agree with your views.
To be honest I have no problem with what ever they do.
It is as you say the funfair that put me out sometimes. I mean I don’t particularly like wearing suits for work but because I am expected to I do. Therefore so they should wear the appropriate attire for work in order to pacify the most sceptics of the society.
