Yek dü = proper tavli 1 + 2 expression; it is a possibility.

there is a Turkish word for 'pride' = kibir. I dont know if it was borrowed to use with that meaning..

Not necessarily. It is a short sword with a heavy widening blade with ruts at the edge. Basically a Turkish sabre.

Also 'pala bıyık' with a 'curved moustache'.
