Can we, you and me, be next in line to get some land? Everyone else seems to be getting something, I am beginning to feel a little left out. Maybe we can share the land that Denktash left behind. I always liked Paphos, prefer it to Kyrenia. We could start a vineyard, or any business other than tourism, no tourism for me, and no land development.

Just for you, I went and found what was written a while back by a very knowledgeable TC member by the name "skipper". This is what he had to say.

It's a nice conspiracy theory but people got fed up with Denktas as it became clearer and clearer that he was only after power to line his own pockets and that a non solution suited him. For example, it's said that 30,000 donums of land has been given to him! no one believes he his family had that much land.. Second example, for years he said anyone caught obtaining a RoC passport would be put in prison and then what happens after the gates open? he tells his grandchildren that it's their "right" to get one just so that they could save a few thousand pounds in university fees, that one was a big shock to alot of people. I could go on, but trust me alot of people here would love to see him tried and even hanged.

Are you calling "skipper" a liar Zan. My my my, all this time you have never disputed these numbers, but all of a sudden you want to. Even BigOz did not dispute these numbers when I asked him not too long ago. Is he also a liar Zan.??

Appendix I
VIENNA III AGREEMENT– 2 AUGUST 1975 (UN DOCUMENT S/11789)
1. The Turkish Cypriots at present in the South of the Island will be allowed, if they want to do so, to proceed North with their belongings under an organized programme and with the assistance of UNFICYP.
2. Mr. Denktash reaffirmed, and it was agreed, that the Greek Cypriots at present in the North of the Island are free to stay and that they will be given every help to lead a normal life, including facilities for education and for the practice of their religion, as well as medical care by their own doctors and freedom of movement in the North.
3. The Greek Cypriots at present in the North who, at their own request and without having been subjected to any kind of pressure, wish to move to the South will be permitted to do so.
4. UNFICYP will have free and normal access to Greek Cypriot villages and habitations in the North.
5. In connection with the implementation of the above agreement priority will be given to the re-unification of families, which may also involve the transfer of a number of Greek Cypriots, at present in the South, to the North.
