Denktash took 30 000 donums!!!! That is 30 square kilometers, that is a LOT OF LAND. Given the principle of equlity does that mean we are all going to get an equal parcel of land under the eventual settlement? Just joking.

It's a nice conspiracy theory but people got fed up with Denktas as it became clearer and clearer that he was only after power to line his own pockets and that a non solution suited him. For example, it's said that 30,000 donums of land has been given to him! no one believes he his family had that much land.. Second example, for years he said anyone caught obtaining a RoC passport would be put in prison and then what happens after the gates open? he tells his grandchildren that it's their "right" to get one just so that they could save a few thousand pounds in university fees, that one was a big shock to alot of people. I could go on, but trust me alot of people here would love to see him tried and even hanged.
