And if you'd had to flee your home – in fear of your life – only to then see it illegally sold on to greedy, opportunist bargain-hunters, who cared nothing for what you'd been through but who were simply happy to gain on your loss? How would you feel, 35 years later, when justice was finally served?

If you wouldn't be in high spirits, I'll wager you wouldn't be 'human'. But, if you bought stolen property and added to the pain of long-suffering refugees, then admittedly, perhaps you wouldn't qualify.

Only one thing you have all forgotten to mention is that Turkish Cypriots owned land in the south especially Larnaca and Paphos area. Were they so generous they just gave it away? I don't think so! All this is going to do is open a huge can of worms and create misery on both sides.

Let justice be served everywhere in Cyprus and for all Cypriots. 35 years of misery is quite enough!

Oracle I never didn't acknowledge you as fellow human beings. We all come onto this earth the same way and leave the same way.
My god every time you turn the TV on all you see is misery in this world be it Iraq or Afghanistan or Africa. Time we all stopped throwing our toys out of the prams and started making this island one to be really proud of, a showpiece for the rest of the world. Instead of all this bickering there's enough land here for us all.
