A good friend of mine that I have known since I was 4 years old works in the City. He is like a brother to me, having known him for 30 years. I sent him a text message as soon as I heard to see if he is ok. I am still waiting for a reply back. The waiting game is driving me nuts, not knowing what is happening or anything.

He works in Berners St in the West End and lives in Muswell Hill. Not entirely sure what stations he goes through or what lines he uses, but I am getting more and more worried by the minute

I'm sure he's fine... just the mobile phone networks are obviously still taking a hammering so txt messages might take a long time to get through. Wait and give him a call later this evening.

I think you're right there moose.
I have just started a new job in the city (it's my second week) and this happens. The phone networks have been jammed all morning. I've had an avalanche of messages as the networks begin to stabilise.
Anyway, I consider myself lucky, had a I left for work a little earlier I would have been caught up in one of those blasts!
I should have stayed in Kent.

Things change sk... had you written that 50 years ago, the opposite would have been true... you can never tell where a terrorist will strike.
