You can start with «Ηχώ από τα παλιά, η Τουρκοκυπριακή Κοινότητα και η κληρονομιά της» "echo of the past, the Turkish Cypriot Community and its heresy". Its a book written by Turkish Cypriot brothers Ozay and Seltzuk Akif from Limassol and the publication of which was sponsored, among else, by the Ministry of Education of the RoC. Here you will find about this mystery place called Kkiosoglouthkia, which does not exist only in the sick mind of all the nationalists

If you know about it why don't you tell me when this event happened? I am guessing it was after 7th of June 1958 and probably after 12th of June. I search Google and NOBODY seems to know about this place and this event. I bet that you first heard about it yesterday.

Bananiot, are the names you posted, 'Κιοσογλούθκια - Kiosoglouthkia ' names of a location or personal names? It resembles the Turkish name 'Köseoğlu/ Kioseoghlou'. Also what is the suffix ....thkia mean? I am getting interested in this subject of not so distant Cyprus History. I know a few Limassolian who might be able to help.

Zero hits in both Greek and English, using my personal search engine which interrogates most major engines all at once! Don't waste your time.

GR, at least you can tell me what the suffix ...thkia means. I am curious as I have come accross it on this forum. What are you scared of?

You remember "Kolokoui" right? Well in plural they're called "Kolokouthkia"!

It also looks as if the snow in the UK will not allow me to fly today , it was also snowing way back in December of 1961 when some ...evil woman deflowered a young innocent boy !

We are eagerly awaiting the next chapter, dear miltiades... :)

It is steaming hot ! All revealed soon , not suitable for juniors !
Oracle shut your eyes .

Maltese she was , met her at the Locarno in South London early December 1961.
She was much older than I, mid to late 20s smoked like a chimney and drunk like a fish. Asked to dance , couldnt believe my eyes , eagerly she said yes and up she came on to the dance floor where a jive was followed by a slow dance , Maria was not slow at all and was soon teaching me to dance slow very very slow !! She was a redhead and quite attractive if you ignored the nose and concentrated on her other assess , and large assets they were too. She was a waitress she told me , worked in the City somewhere and after having a drink or two at the bar we ended up on the upstairs area of the Locarno where most "couples" naturally ended up after getting to know each other on the dance floor as one does.
She lived in Brixton the top end before entering Streatham .Maria was very eager to please , asked me how old I was and I told her I was 18 , I looked older so she never doubted me.
As the time approached when the dance hall would close I gather enough courage to ask if I could take her home, of course she replied in earnest , I begun to palpitate and perspire a great deal , I wondered if my moment of truth had arrived !!!

I like how you are building the suspence and anticipation here,miltiades....Like a good lover with s-l-0-w uninterrupted foreplay... Please don't let the side show here distract you...We want to hear this story soon........ :)

I suppose you never read books GR. What were you before the internet? Kkiosoglouthkia is the area around heroe's square in Limassol. The name derives from a large TC family that lived there the Kiseoglu family. Read the book, its all there.

Kkiosoglouthkia probably means all the offspring of the Kioseoglu family. Remember, it was a large one.
