Bananiot why don't you admit that you learned about this thing 2 days ago from some blog post and that you know nothing more about it except from what was posted in that blog? You are referring to a book just because that blog mentions the book, but neither you or the author of that blog actually read the book since you are not even able to answer a simple question: What was the date of the alleged event. Now run to the bookstore, try to find the book, scan it quickly to find the date and try to save yourself from the embarrassment. I am not going to wait all day ;)

You can even get if for free at your workplace!

What an idiot! I have a copy of the book signed by the authors damn it. This is my world Piratis and there is no room for you in it. Tomorrow, they will both be at the meeting, come and ask them any questions you like, perhaps they will tell you about the month too that the murders took place in 1958.

For our discussions here on the forum it’s the end result tallies that count, not the details of individual cases because the statistics remain the same whether we are aware of the Kolokouthkia incident or not!

TC Fatalities: 200 odd.

GC Fatalities: 5,000 odd!

So the book doesn't even say the date that the alleged events happened?

This video shows the riots of the TCs on the 7th of June 1958 when they burned GC shops and houses. This was followed by the massacre of 8 unarmed GCs near Geunyeli on the 12 of June 1958.

We all know that both sides had casualties during the inter-communal conflict, and houses of innocent people from both communities were burnt. I never claimed the opposite, neither I tried to excuse any of the crimes. However you tried to dispute the fact that it is the TCs who started this conflict, something you are obviously not able to prove.

While I haven't heard of this "Kkiosogluthkia" incident, I can bet you that if such thing was done by GCs then it was done after 7th of June 1958.

The TCs lit the fuse towards the destruction of our Island, towards the ethnic cleansing of GCs from their homes and land. :(

Sometimes things really are "black or white".

Hello again Insan,
In the 70s, 80s and 90s it was the red light district of Limassol. :)

I may have lost my virginity there… or was it Soutzou street in Nicosia? :?
