Piratis will always be pratis. He will get his come-uppance one day.

I agree Deniz, he does not realize the damage he continues to do towards reunificaiton, the current day eoka fighter, enosis is alive and kicking no amount of claims that Gcs are passed this desire will wash, Piratis is a prime example of what you deny.

This is madness my friend from America and frankly, I do not see your point either because Cyprus is not the handful of people that write in this forum and it would be very bad science to draw conclusions from a few responses.
You do not see the point because you are too blinded by the appetizers and booze they were serving at this function....I have family members that were massacred in the invasion of 74, one of my cousins was dug up from a mass grave not too long ago, there were emotions at his burial and speeches...whats your point Bananiot? At the dna testing center at Nicosia's airport they were shown the bodies of Turkish Cypriots dug up from another mass grave......im sure there were emotions and speeches at these peoples burial also......The one point that you miss and it will be blunt and i hope you understand it, is that my cousins's burial was not allowed to be broadcast in the occuppied areas, neither were the burials for the Turkish Cypriots broadcast on ROC media.........Without a solution to the Cyprus problem the impact of these events only highlights the propaganda that each side dishes out to its people that the other side is bad.....Both sides are using this issue to forment and divide Cyprus not bring both people together........

You are correct in saying that both sides ought to come open and admit that their own brand of fanatics was no better than the others .
As one who for many decades now have accepted the terrible deeds committed by both sides I suggest that we start by declaring a day of remembrance for Cypriots who lost their lives in the conflict , a day that would be honoured by both sides .

Whatever the political implication, this can go a long way to heal the wounds that are constantly ripped open each time culpability for the pain caused is denied.
My point is,that the effect is minimal, and only serves to enhance the propaganda machine on both sides, at the end of the day, Cyprus is still one of the most military places on earth and if war started tomorrow these crimes would be recreated.

Its not a pointless argument, Turkey needs to show goodwill in solving the Cyprus problem, by removing her illegal troops from Cyprus and allowing Varosha to be returned then the negotiations can begin......For 36 years Turkey has not shown one iota of backing down and continuously threatens the rest of Cyprus...and people like Banananoit, feed into the Turkish propaganda machine which makes the situation from bad to worse...

I give up Birkibrisli. My friend from America thinks I went for the booze and the grab (which was not) and the other geezer from your part of the world thinks that the tragic woman should have had her husband killed some years earlier, just to please his perverted sense of justice. Piratis has an issue with the name of an organisation. That is all they saw ...

My turn to remind you we cannot afford to give up,dear Bananiot...

These people live in their little worlds, and assume that everyone is like themselves...small-minded,arrogant,selfish,and brain washed...They are little more than automated creatures (that will do,to save me from insulting them!)whose minds cannot process emotions properly...Unless it relates to themselves or their "side"...

I wanted to ask you something,Bananiot...You live in the RoC...Can you tell me if this Forum is a near representative of the RoC society as I suspect it is...???Cast your mind over all the usual suspects here and tell me what you think...I will appreciate that...
