What did I say,

Humanitarian groups are now condemning Erdogan for using people as bargaining chips.

All problems revolve around that guy and Turkey.

This is what needs to be dealt with.

His regime needs to be sanctioned and dismantled.

Turkey has to be restructured and smaller for peace and stability in Europe and the wider region.

Looks like EU leaders are united in bolstering the EU's security and will throw resources at Greece and Bulgaria to maintain the security of the continent.

Also some reporters on euro news are saying that the credibility of the Turkish regime has been severely shot in the EU.

How long do they need to wake up..?

Surely the US would not try to interfere, even more than they have done already, in events in Syria ......... or would they? :?

US carrier strike group enters Mediterranean as Syria & Turkey move to state of war - Source: Zero Hedge

Erdogan is urging US and NATO help to halt the Syrian-Russian offensive in Idlib, and elsewhere, Libya is also turning into a full-blown major conflict involving external powers, notably also Turkey which is providing military support to Tripoli against Gen. Haftar's offensive. Turkey and Syria are currently downing each other's aircraft over Idlib province in a major escalation.

And now the Marine Traffic maritime information portal has identified along with other international reports that the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (or "Ike") crossed through the Strait of Gibraltar and entered the Mediterranean Sea late Friday into Saturday, accompanied by multiple support ships.

I doubt it.

The US is reluctant to even give Erdogan patriot missiles ad the US withdrew from Syria.

Trump wrote to erdogan and told him not to be a fool and invade Syria.

I think there is another reason why it is in the region.

Hsitory is repeating itself RH,

Russia, Europe and the US will find themselves on the same side fighting this centuries "Nazis".

Erdogan will probably end his own life while holed up in his palatial bunker.

Erdogan is in a state of panic and is willing to grab onto anything and anyone to save himself from drowning in his own cesspool of criminal activities. It has been clear to me for a long time that in Syria, the Russians and the Americans are working together against Erdogan, who is supporter of Jihadist groups along with other terrorist groups. Both the Americans and the Russians have been giving Erdogan enough rope to hang himself, which is what he had done.

Erdogan thought he had it all worked out, that he can be in bed with Putin and Trump at different times like a cheap whore in order to benefit from both. Now he finds out, that the joke was on him all along and is seen only as a cheap whore and not as a friend. Turkey walked into Syria with encouragement from both Putin and Trump and now it cannot retreat. Only bad things can happen to the Turks in Syria militarily and only bad things will happen with the EU, both politically and economically.

How can one man make so many mistakes? Of course, the mistake was with the Turks for allowing such a man to become the sole ruler, a dictator in Turkey. They even bought the lies from Erdogan that the so called coup in 2016 was not an inside job created by himself. Muslims do not understand or accept Democracy, Checks & Balances and the Rule of Law, but just "gunboat diplomacy"!

Seems like you are right Kiks.

The pentagon has just given a press release, saying that there will be no US air support for Turkey in Idlib. They will only get platitudes of support, that are probably not genuine.

The EU has also just made a statement saying that Turkey is not permitted to let refugees and migrants use its territory to cross in to the EU.

What the EU sees happening on the Greek and Turkish border is not a solution to the refugees and migrants in Turkey.

The EU is not obliged to take everyone trying to cross through Turkey.

Erdogan's islamo facist hypocrisy is in a massive bind of its own making.

“[Turkish President Recep Tayyip] Erdogan, having lost all checks and balances, is trying to blackmail Europe through opening the gates from Turkey towards Europe to Syrian refugees, while his mercenaries in Syria have blocked every safe conduit opened by the Syrian government for the people of Idlib to cross into safe havens within Syria,” Syrian Ambassador to China, Imad Moustapha stated.

The European Union must not bow to threats from Turkey to push millions of Syrian refugees into EU countries, Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said on Friday, adding that Ankara should stop its military operations in northern Syria at once.

The European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex) announced on Monday that it will launch a rapid border intervention (RABIT) to assist Greece in dealing with the large numbers of migrants at its external borders.

Frontex Executive Director, Fabrice Leggeri said the intervention is designed to bring immediate assistance to an EU Member State that is under urgent and exceptional pressure at its external border, especially related to large numbers of non-EU nationals trying to enter its territory illegally.

“Given the quickly developing situation at the Greek external borders with Turkey, my decision is to accept to launch the rapid border intervention requested by Greece. It is part of the Frontex mandate to assist a Member State confronted with an exceptional situation, requesting urgent support with officers and equipment from all EU Member States and Schengen Associated Countries,” said Leggeri.
