Why on earth do you bother, why do you want to force the two sides to unite when you know full weill it will never work? Try and be honest and sincere and I will respond in kind.

I may well die in a foreign land. At least Switzerland is a recognised civilized Democratic country. You just live on a stolen land in a corrupted society that will never be recognised. Anyone who TODAY supports partitioning of their country just to help a foreign country become their masters does not deserve to call themselves Cypriots, and you is such a person. Cyprus as one country can work for all Cypriots, but it can ONLY happen under a True democracy, Human Rights, International law and the EU Principles. We already had your version for Cyprus with the 1959 Zurich agreements and it did not work and we almost had something even worse, the Annan plan in 2004. It's time to give Democracy a chance. What do you have to lose by trying Democratic Cyprus for a change under the EU umbrella?

Your psychological barriers are unbelievable, I would rather die in my own homeland than a foreign land among foreigners. This "stolen" land you refer to is in fact mine, I have not taken it from anyone and my family have owned it way way back, I have no problems living and enjoying it nor do I think like you my life here among my own people is far far better richer and fulfilling than yours will ever be among foreigners in their country.

Partitioning is a direct result of the GC desire to give Cyprus away to Greece we fought back but lets not go over that again, partition for us equals survival and your repeating the text book phrases "True democracy, Human Rights, International law and the EU Principles" only hold water if the body being the majority therefore the GCs applying those principles are trusted to apply them correctly.....we do not trust them nor do they trust us but you continue to insist that we give up the TRNC which we can hold onto forever and take a leap of faith hoping the GCs will do everything by the book. Well its not that easy and plans like the AP try to cater for those fears and concerns thats why TCs favor them and have in fact said YES.

You need to convince the GCs that we have legitimate rights to Cyprus and that we are partners and should be treated as such we support BBF with political equality of the 2 states as supported by the UN but I still believe the GCs are not genuine in the desire for a solution because they have everything they ever wanted all the have to do is be seen to want a solution for the sake of the international community and few GC refugees.

The majority of the land in the occupied areas is GC land. Up to 85 per cent. This land was not handed over willingly to anyone. It was taken under duress. Therefore it is stolen land.

So let's get this right VP ... you support BBF, equal zones or states etc etc

Right, the following is from today's Baycrap...

Perhaps you can tell a chap called Tartar a senior figure in the Illegal Regime who said this only today...

... "Noting that the continuation of the structure and stability of the TRNC economy was dependent on the continuation of Turkey’s support, Mr. Tatar said the TRNC economy will improve as long as the relations between the two countries remain solid..."

Two Countries! ... Turkey and "tncr" ... !

This is how Baycrap reports on a statement by the Turkish Vice PM Atalay to the Occupied Areas...

... "He also noted that during the meeting between technical teams of the two countries, he noticed positive effects of the new arrangements carried out by the TRNC government..."

Two countries again!!!... Turkey and "tncrtn" ...!!

... and this is a statement by someone called Kucuk speaking for the Illegal regime, again from today's baycrap...

..."Küçük also pointed to the fact that the TRNC was a democratic country that deserved international recognition..."

A country that deserves international recognition!!!

So who is telling us the truth VP, you or the mouth-piece of the Illegal Regime, baycrap...??? ... zone/state or Country...???

If what the TC leadership wants is a return to the 1960 Constitution then why don't they propose to the GCs and the UN to alter the solution framework and begin negotiations on the basis of a unitary state and on the basis of the 1960 ROC constitution?

Have you suddenly changed your minds it was you people that didnt want the 1960 agreements putting forward 13 points that would have taken away our rights and handed Cyprus to you on plate so theat you can "democratically" do as you wish eg give it to Greece. The day we made such a move would be the day you ask for those 13 points or more to force us from partnership status to minority status...we would be back to square one. Whats wrong with sharing the island equally side by side as 2 states joined together as one nation just as the UN proposes it? what have you got against us administering our own part of the island and you your own where people can travel and settle as they wish? Another matter I have difficulty grasping is that you Gcs hate us so much why the hell would you want a unitary state and live mixed with us? it brings to mind that you have ulterior motives and thats why you are not trusted.

our own part of the island and you your own

There's no such thing as the statement you have made above. There is no separate ownership of any part of Cyprus by any community. When you make such statements, it is no wonder no one trusts you, because should that be accepted, the first chance you get, you will say, "oh, this part belongs to the TCs/Turks and we are now going to declare independence and kick out all the foreigners (GCs) who are not TCs/Turks". Who would trust such ill intend Racist Fascists such as yourself and the likes of you such as present and past leadership in the north.

well said Kikapu. i say Cyprus is a State, it is a Unitary State whether it is Bicommunal or not. and further more, why are there only two Constituent states, "Turkish", and the rest i suppose? a true Turkish Statesman would say, where is the Greek Cypriot Constituency, where is a Cypriot Constituency for Maronites, Armenians, and Latins, can we sustain Modern components in time?

...did you really read the Constitution vp, i did again, thank-you very much; it needs reform, now more than then, and as it is the basis of the Republic of Cyprus today, it is good a place as any to start toward securing the lasting security we are craving. your observations on it i find curious because they do not include any discussion of the Communal Chamber which never had a Greek component, here is where the "Greeks" failed, i would think that this is the issue on which the Problem hangs the most; i have asked you to read my manifesto before, i fight for Freedom, at least in my fantasy there is Liberty too.

...if you want the Freedom of Cyprus as a Cypriot, it is not just a "Greek"/"Turkish" issue.

Go reserach the difference between soverignty and private land ownership, only then will you remove the information you were spoon fed at school while the brain washing process was going on.

Bill the fact that people do not believe there will never be a solution does not take away that if a BBF like the AP was offered to them again they would not support it as they did in the past but until then we will continue to act and believe in the TRNC as a separate country to be recognized by more countries in the future. Its the GCs who do not support BBF and reject everything put before them.

So it is obviously not bound by any international treaties that were signed by the RoC.

I think it's time for VP to go back to her/his instructors for some lessons. she/he is totally confused lately and one post contradicts the other. Or is it a double/triple personality?
