I cant give it to you any simpler than that but the majority of Cypriots will not settle for an apartheid with an ethnic minority. It does not matter which constituent state you end up living in but a partnership, on a 50:50 basis between minority(15%) and majority(85%) does not work. Sooner or later, everyone will respect Cyprus's sovereign integrity, the EU aquis will be implemented across the whole island and she will be a democratic republic. I don't know where you will fit in to all this exactly, VP5000, but the TC's better hurry up and make up their minds because Talat says they are being eliminated.

Most of these 2nd, 3rd 4th generation and so on Illegal Aliens are sitting on stolen GC properties, and once it is taken away from them, they will voluntarily head back to their motherland, if not outright kicked out. Why do you think the EU wants Turkey to sign (which Turkey doesn't want to sign) the repatriation clause for those entering the EU illegally in order for Turkey to have a visa free access to the EU for the Turks. Sounds to me like, the Illegal Aliens in Cyprus will be the first to be repatriated back to Turkey once Turkey signs the visa free accord.

If you are a TC, which I doubt, you should be worrying more about Cypriots getting their properties and life back after 38 years being denied to them by Turkey than many Illegal Aliens sent to Cyprus by Turkey to cause problems to all Cypriots, mostly to the TCs I may add. As far as these Illegal Aliens concern, there isn't much difference between the north and any part of Turkey. It's not as if they have been living in any part of European society that it would be a shock for them now to go back to Turkey. Even for a small country like Switzerland, many people commute to work that is much further away from their homes than it is from the north to Turkey. Besides, it is up to Turkey to take care of her own problems, created by herself. It has nothing to with Cypriots in general.

You know damn well that there will be those who will stay in Cyprus, those who qualify for RoC residency now due to marriages to real TCs and their children, but this can only go so far and not every Tom, Dick and Mary will be able to stay, just because they have a so called "trnc citizenship". Such worthless "citizenship" from the "trnc" does not make them a TC.

Here is the latest on the Visa free agreement between Turkey and the EU. Looks like you and many Illegals Aliens in the north will be going to their motherland soon.

Even the RoC signed the agreement with all of the EU member states. Hmmmm, I wonder why?

Turkey ready to readmit migrants if EU lifts visas

25 June 2012 / AYDIN ALBAYRAK, ANKARAA senior government official has said Turkey is negotiating to obtain visa exemption from the European Union in exchange for allowing the EU to return to Turkey illegal migrants who reached EU countries by way of Turkey.

Noting that EU countries expect Turkey to readmit illegal migrants, EU Affairs Minister Egemen Bağış said, “You only get what you deserve.” He added, “We would exert ourselves only as much as you would be prepared to support us regarding visas,” implying that Turkey is ready to meet the EU’s demand as long as the EU drops the visa requirement, which the minister described as totally senseless, for Turkish citizens.

Last week, following the EU countries’ formal authorization of the 27-nation bloc’s executive arm, the European Commission, to begin talks with Turkey on visa liberalization, as a gesture of goodwill Turkey initialed the readmission agreement, which took Turkey and the EU four years of negotiations to put together, allowing the EU member states to send back irregular migrants to Turkey. “We are waiting to see an action plan on the part of the EU to put our signature on the agreement,” the minister announced, speaking at the “No Visa for Europe” conference at the Center for European Union Education and Youth Programs in Ankara on Monday.

I think you are confusing No Visa to No Passport, which what most of the EU has. The Turks will still need to go through passport control at their EU destinations, and if found to be unfit to enter the country, they will be shipped right back to Turkey on the next flight. Once entered into the country and have overstayed, they will be shipped right back to Turkey. All those in the northern Cyprus not only they have overstayed, but entered the country illegally to begin with. For the EU , it will be a open & shut case to send them all back to Turkey as soon as Turkey signs the agreement. Start packing, VP 3.0.

No more "free lunch" from the EU to the freeloaders who would want to come and stay illegally on the countries social system. No Sir, they will be all sent back to where they came from which Turkey will be responsible to take them back, even if they are from India, but used Turkey to transit in to a EU country.

Besides, since Turkey has become such an Economic Powerhouse, no Turk will want to leave Turkey to go and live illegally in another EU country, right VP 3.0!

Actually, Turkey must be the "sucker" for allowing all these economically destitute EU citizens coming into Economic Powerhouse Turkey!

You mean all these Turks will want to leave Turkey's Economic Powerhouse to become illegals and working for peanuts in the EU?

I guess the EU can use some more cheap labour to meet the austerity measures taken in countries looking to/have received bailouts.

It may well be a win win situation for both the EU and the Illegal Aliens coming from Turkey!

But why would Turks want to leave Economic Superpower Turkey in order to become a poor Illegal Alien in another EU country?
