If they box Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, and Kuwait in then what do you think will happen?

The US has just asked Australia for a naval presence in the Straits of Hormuz to escort Oil Tankers in and out. What does this tell you?

But I put it to you that it is in fact your Hypocrisy which doesn't allow you to respond with any authority. You want it all your way as the ideologue that you are. Never once have you seen the situation from our own side.

We are not as bad as you think. Iran and Saudi Arabia on the other hand are not what I would call upstanding international citizens. And I would say both are a lot worse than Israel which is a western style democracy, respects women's rights and also allows Arabs and Palestinians the ability to represent themselves unlike of course your little pet Assad who has ethnically cleansed millions of Sunnis and killed tens of thousands of them with Chemical Weapons and conducted other war crimes.

NEVER have you criticized that or felt any sense of compassion. Therefore, with what authority can you talk against Israel? NONE at all! I didn't do it. You did this yourself.

You also see the West as some kind of evil or Satan. I admitted to you that we or our side have oil interests. It's hardly a fact that can be hidden. And because of the struggle between Shia and Sunni and our desire to keep critical oil markets open to us rather than be hemmed in, and because of Syria, there is a brutal war in Yemen between Sunni and Shia once again. This has been going on for hundreds of years and it's quite sad of course. Our desire of course to to keep the oil taps open and get our Tankers in and out of the Straits of Hormuz, because we need these resources to operate our economies. Until we find alternatives, this region will always have a grip on our Governments.

If we had the Shah in Iran, things would not be quite as critical because we can get a bit of oil from Iran and bit from each of the other Gulf States. Right now, we can't get any from Iran and we can't afford for Iran to control Yemen.

But we don't have the Shah. So we lose out but here is the kicker you fail to recognize as well. The Iranian people lose out even more, because ask any Iranian who they preferred between the Ayatollah and Islamic Revolution in Iran or the US backed Shah where Iranian women can wear a bikini on the beaches back in the 60s and 70s. They will always vote with their feet for the Shah. Even the participants of the revolution because they seemed to thing the Ayatollah was for more worker rights have now bashed their heads on a brick wall. So our little puppet wasn't as bad after all was he?

Once again, you can not deny that our Shah, was far better as Iran was more free and liberal. And would probably be a very modern and wealthy State by now is the Shah remained.

You are again correct in as much as I do not have a blind predetermined faith in humanity certainly when it is related to those that rule my life and the lives of billions of people on this planet. I could not give a shit for religion ........... any religion. The reason many of these Sunnis, and not just Sunnis but many others ethnic groups, are so deprived is because the US has tried to impose their ideology and so-called democracy on people around the World, who were not ready for it. It was forced upon them and it was all done for oil and other resources their countries have that the US covets. The US never intervenes unless there is something in it for them ......... remember that Trump call ; America First!
